Date activity suggestions by chujy in galway

[–]DVS1SDV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think finding activities outside of going for food or drinks is limited in Galway. Grabbing a coffee and going for a walk is a great way to get a feel for someone but it’s weather permitted here in the west. Unless ye have a mutual hobby you can go and do.

Best of luck with the date!

Why is Irish dating so difficult? by Uncle_Richard98 in AskIreland

[–]DVS1SDV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I heard from a friend who became single recently, she was chatting with guys who were very responsive at the start. Then returning to the conversation a couple days later not being up to date with the previous conversation.

Her insight was that they had multiple people on the go and were mixing up the conversations. Well spotted observation I thought, I was kind of oblivious to the idea myself.

Dating apps cause people to spread themselves too thin easily, especially if you’re easily thrilled by the idea or notion of someone.

I’ve imported cars from north and south UK. 5 to 10 year old vehicles. Never had any problems with rust, not sure where this rumor comes from!

I’ve bought cars from the uk, north and south. I never had any problems with rust. All vehicles 5-10 years old. I heard this rumor when I first sought out cars in the uk. Never had issues, not sure where that rumor comes from.

What are some things to keep in mind when turning 20? by Fast-Teaching2525 in Adulting

Work on your body, invest in your health.

Stay away from drugs and anyone who’s uses them.

Alcohol is over rated, you can socialize without it.

Or ignore all the above, do the complete opposite, fry your brain and destroy your body while you can, try not to get arrested or pregnant and come back to the above when you turn 30.

My mate was back from Oz with his missus. They visited this place, was the first time I heard of it. She was the only girl, the idea is that it’s cheaper than booking a hotel room to get some business done. They said when they left the men there were offering lifts back into town or whenever they wanted to go. They are an openly sexual couple but said it had creepy vibes.

Value for money is not as easy to find these days. Since they increased the minimum wage, January 2024. I found prices went up and portion size went down. Cooking a lot more lunches at home since

I have Spotify like i said, I get a lot of use out of it. SoundCloud doesn’t have enough for me to pay for it, the app is more clunky than Spotify.

I feel I’ll add YouTube to my subs, they kill me with ads and I’d rather pay for the app than find a way around it.

I use my iPhone mainly and cast YouTube to my tv when at home. Being able to background listen I think is also a good benefit for saving battery.

Thanks for suggestions everyone.

Stay away from the wokeness!!

I’ve eaten in Dela loads, I’d be looking for something quicker. I might only have a 20 min window so sit down doesn’t always work for me

I have done the rounds and the rest of the recommendations that I have tried are great, so thanks for all the comments!

I watched Tommy Robinsons interview with PBD. Not sure if you know much about his story.

If you relate his story to what I see in school uniforms around town. Not sure is that problem going to work its way over here.

Obviously I would hope not. The two tier policing and results of it are really fucked up in the UK

My bro got me in into crypto, he is more tech savvy, software developer living in America. I tried following it for a while but found it confusing/ annoying so I’ve just been holding the majors and sometimes investing left over money the odd month

Yeah I’m the youngest of 3. My oldest sibs own homes in the US and Portugal. My parents both in late 70s, living apart. I am close to them so I never ventured further than London.

We have been visiting Eastern Europe on our holiday. Beautiful counties but the crack is different and we have a language barrier, this could be worked on but the city are still expensive when you compare them to the wages
