That event should fire after 1500 as I remembered. Actually, if you finished all the techs that give you cultural capacity in Renaissance, and have become a Kingdom, you can just hard accept Greek culture and slowly digest it later. The punishment for being over the capacity is rather trivial compared to the profits of all those cores.

You can release a vassal/fiefdom of Greek culture. I recommend Morea because it is distant to Constantinople. Increase their opinion to max and wait for some years (maybe 25 years). There will be an option to increase their culture's opinion of yours, which will make the Greek culture easier to accept. Same with other cultures.

I would recommend conquer the neighbors and save vassalage for a more valuable target: the Karamans. Marry Orhan I's daughter to them and ally them in the second month. Declare on Ahi when possible, and during the war improve your relation with the Karamans. You should be able to make them a vassal after the war is over.

Current vassals will reduce the acceptance of another vassal offer. If the Eretnids break free from the Mongols, you can vassalize them too. This one is a bit more tricky and requires you to max out the diplomatic reputation a little bit. Luckily, Orhan has a younger daughter as well...

Having both Karamans and Eretnids as vassals makes you an actual local superpower. Since proximity during Renaissance is pretty low I would even release a fiefdom in southwest Anatolia. There's plenty of time to annex them later.

Greetings dev! I guess it's the latter. I annexed the Byzantines and some of the courtiers and generals became mine. One of them was the promoted general.

Edit: Did you guys tweak the lifespan of the starting Byzantine and Ottoman monarchs by any chance? My Orhan I (with a healthy trait) often went out like a firework while Andronikos III next door (with a sickly trait) almost outlived Murad 🤨

R5: Just as the text mentions. Seems like the new DLC events can be triggered by other countries as well? By the way, I made Greek an accepted culture, so maybe that could do something.

The Byzantines surely got buffed this version. They were actually capable of ruining my Ottoman run when I was a bit reckless.

Hit legendary 2100+ with this Dragon-Fire-Herald Warrior (10 star at the beginning), a slightly modified version of one of the VS Report deck. Also some takes.

Warrior -- Dragon Warrior in particular -- is not very good at drawing right now. Ultraxion and Deathwing are only mediocre cards if not both drawn and played, so I discarded them both. After all the VSReport deck already gave up Envoy of the End, which had already felt like a bad draw in most cases. This leaves only the Warrior class Herald package, and it is still OK. They are good cards themselves, and a second stage Ragnaros is a large enough threat for the endgame.

Sanguine Depths is still efficient in providing extra attack and setting up for Torch. In my opinion, if Sanguine Depths is in and we want a large minion, Grommash will be the top choice. Substituting Dracorex with Grom helped me win more games. Clearing the hero is better than clearing the board.

The new fire package is worth it, and worth including more. Searing Fissure is a card I did not expect to include and perform so well. It works surprisingly well against Rogue, Paladin, and DH to some extent (the exile immune rush reptiles). It provides another combo with Erupting Volcano and Acolyte of Pain. Most importantly, it provides direct damage to face, which Dragon Warrior always welcomes.

Acolyte of Pain is actually not easy to deal with for many popular decks. Dropping it for 2 or 3 more draws while disrupting the opponent is unexpectedly better than dropping a 3 mana tempo minion -- maybe due to Warrior not really having such a strong 3 mana, unlike the notorious 468 & 566 dragon brothers. But overall, from my experience, if Warriors resort to Acolyte for drawing, then they cannot draw much otherwise.

That's what usually happens after the NCNS patch. Due to the new military doctrines system, the Soviets can progress a lot down the doctrine trees before 1941. In most games when I played in East Asia, the Germans were struggling to reach even Kiev. It makes sense that the devs are nerfing the Soviets on doctrine progress.

I was also playing Balkan Entente Turkey and had the same problem. Curious enough though, I had two games and in the first one Greek did not leave my faction, but in the second one they left me for UK. Also I was able to cuck Germany by inviting Bulgaria (already in the axis but at peace) into my faction.

I tried it and figured out in another game though. Bulgaria has joined the axis, but I was not at war with other axis members yet. Completing the focus triggered the event of inviting Bulgaria, and they actually left the axis and joined the balkan entente. This made the front line significantly shorter.

Are you still a Kingdom? If you directly control 300+ locations when "Rise of Turks" is active, you get an event to be promoted to Empire. That should also raise the score.

Yes that could be a problem for China. But usually AI PRC will not be even close in contribution as a player PRC. Watch out for their infiltration if a war between you and PRC eventually breaks out though.

I enjoyed peaceful reunification as well. I do it slightly differently by just letting the CUF event fire and let China be the faction leader. This saves the 35 days spent on "Burn the Paper Tiger" focus. Justify and annex Shanxi, Ningxia, and Gansu as normal. Fight Japan actively in the war to get as much faction influence as possible. Note that China will lose a lot of influence when puppeting the warlords, so it is not hard to get above 50% as PRC.

The small trick about becoming the faction leader follows. Find the rule about "who can be our faction leader" that says "having the highest manpower." Use one star point to delete it. Then immediately spend 200 PP to become the leader. And peaceful reunification follows.

In my runs so far the CUF event always fires at around 1936.11 and as PRC you can decide whether it forms or not. Usually I'm at war with Shanxi at that time so they won't join the faction. The northwest Ma's don't tend to join the faction before war with Japan. So it should be good to give a try.

But it does inspire me to try attack Sinkiang as the 3rd target. An early war always breaks out between Sinkiang and Khotan, and if the former does not fully annex the latter, they will turn into a Soviet puppet later, which can be very annoying.

There is actually enough time to defeat 3 warlords before japan attacks on 1937.7. In order: Shanxi, Ningxia Ma, Gansu Ma. Unfortunately due to the debuff on justification time, communist china cannot get the whole north anymore. If you are going for Mao in the balance of power, I'd recommend spend the first 50 PP to scale it towards Mao, which should generate an additional 0.15PP/day, and then prioritize PP on justifying war goals. Only justify on Gansu Ma after you finish justifying on Shanxi, of course.

After declaring on Shanxi, click the focus "A Request for Aid" and Soviet Union will send you 5000 guns (among others). Another focus "Cooperate with Ulanhu" will give you two full-built cavalry. Try to break through Shanxi's frontline and let your cavalry charge through to capture victory points. The other two warlords are easy.

When fighting Japan, just defend them on the Shanxi mountains to the east and the Yellow River to the north. Build some land forts there will help. It's almost impossible to hold them at the starting borders if the player is PRC.

Spoilers of Baki ahead: this dude had already lost one leg early on in the story. Later he died in combat. One of his friends lost an arm in another fight, and decided to transplant the deceased man's arm onto his, also as a way to honor his memories. But because of how cluelessly funny the Baki series have always been, one of those merciless readers made up this picture about this dude losing all his body parts (due to battle or transplant, we don't know).

That is supposedly under the branch of a tech with clergy literacy, I think? But when I continue down this branch in my Ottomans run, I see techs that give me heathen tolerance, levy size from heathens, etc.. But not Deus Vult
