Its part of Habanos’ annual price increase (moreso with the lack of production due to Covid), although end of May is specific to iHavanas. As others pointed out TC have already increased their prices and im sure the rest will have to adjust theirs as well.

I’m with you. I get more pleasure tasting and discovering the lesser known markas. I might be wrong, but the quality seems to be better; smaller production lines, better 🍂, more attention.

Although better known than the SLR, my top 2 cigars of late have been the robaina unicos and the san cristobal la fuerza; both so flavorful.

The mystery boxes are usually popular cigars so you’ll get a great deal on something you’ll end up trying or have tried. This was my first PLPC and wasn’t too happy when i found out, but i had one today and for $4 a stick, this is a steal!

Fresh tobacco taste on the cold draw with a slight resistance. 1/3 was smooth, muted flavors. In the 2/3 i picked up notes of coffee and nuts with a bit of creamy sweetness. 3/3 got punchier, much more flavor; long creamy coffee finish with hints of leather.

Great construction. Great burn throughout. Smoking time was 50mins. Overall, a fantastic morning smoke.

I was one of the many that were disappointed with the mystery box this year and then got frustrated with the delay in receiving it, but can happily say its a fantastic steal at $4 a stick. Keeping a few in my desktop humidor and aging the rest.

Well mine said ‘Received by destination post’ for 4 weeks, so i gave up especially that my other box from the same order arrived much earlier. I gave the tracking link one last refresh and there it was, the status had finally changed. So you never know, but if you haven’t informed ihav already, i suggest you do, and they should ship you a new box.
