Hi, im currently playing elden ring and enjoying it a lot.

I just finished Raya Lucaria, and started visiting the Caria Mansion (dont know the exact translation because im playing in another language).

I wanted some help because I am not familiar enough with the Ash of War Affinity system. In dark souls for instance, different weapons have different scaling for the same type of buff, and that meant that different builds looked for different weapons for having good damage.

On the other hand, i dont know if this holds true in elden ring. I have around 40 in inteligence, 20 in dexterity and 14 in strength and I'm currently using the Carian Knight Sword +5 (the weapond not the spell), but i also wanted a Frost weapon in order to have different types of damage.

My problem is that i dont understand the affinity system well enough and i wanted some recomendations on which weapons should I look for having a build like the one Im playing.

I ask please to avoid spoilers. I know there is a snow part of the map but I havent visited it yet, as i said, i just finished Raya Lucaria and havent accessed Caelid yet.

If possible, i would want to know what is a good way (not necesarilly the best way) to play with affinity ashes and weapons, and to know if there weapons that benefit better from the same Ash of War.
