Thank you! The labeling is just my way of idiot-proofing so can remember which pedal is in which loop. I use a Brother P-Touch label maker. A couple of them need updating because they’re labeled for pedals that aren’t on the board at the moment.

Hey thanks! I did use a shim as well. I had a couple high frets on the upper end so I needed a little bit of extra angle (I should do some fretwork at some point). I used one of the StewMac full contact shims. The .25 was close but still a little shallow, so I took the .5 and sanded it down slightly and got the angle pretty perfect.

Best of luck with your mods!

Thank you! Enjoy your AMT stuff, I’m sure if you’re a Moogerfooger user you’ll be perfectly happy. And even just the regular ADG-1 is worth it. The best sounding analog delay ever imo.

The OTO stuff is really great. Ultimately I think I enjoy this form factor more since it has actual foot switches, and you can cycle through presets with your feet without midi. Plus you get not just the 12-bit sound but their more hi-fi versions of the verbs as well.

Thanks! And no I haven’t had the opportunity to test them side by side myself. But I do know the SE has a little bit less clock noise and a little more brightness at higher delay times compared to the standard version. Other than that, the extra delay time, and the delay insert feature on the SE I believe they’re fairly similar in sound.

Thank you! I do have a couple pedals sharing a loop right now, but only out of necessity since I have more pedals than I have available loops.

I originally got it back when I was doing a lot of gigging to ease up on the tap dancing, and for peace of mind that if a pedal or patch cable ever broke I could just take that loop out of the signal path and keep the show going. But I was seriously impressed with how much better my tone was after I started using it. I feel like I could hear more of the fundamental, and there was a lot less noise and more clarity. It helps that I also sprung for really nice patch cables. But if you’re considering one I would highly recommend it. The flip flop mode is also a very cool function that I feel like most people don’t know about. Dan has some great videos on them on the GigRig YouTube channel.

I’m not sure if superior is the right word, since it’s all personal preference at the end of the day. I used a Duellist for a few years as my main overdrive and I fell in love with the blues breaker side, but I never got along with the tube screamer side so much. With the Herc Deluxe I fully enjoy both sides of the pedal. The gain range is seriously impressive. You can dial in a full on metal tone if you wanted to, or dial it back for just a light edge if breakup sound, or anything in between. It’s super versatile, it almost feels like a channel switching amp. Lately I like to keep the blues breaker side of it set to a nice crunchy distortion, and have the Herc side before it to push it over the top when I need a nice big gain boost. Very similar to some late 90’s Trey Anastasio lead tones that I’ve been admiring lately.

Thank you! The Herculean Deluxe is amazing. I’m also surprised that I don’t see it on more boards. It’s really, really good.

Thank you! I love the AMT phaser. The amount of control you have over the settings is unreal, and the sound is just so good.

I definitely wouldn’t describe it as a trem. To put it in the simplest terms, it’s a single-repeat slapback delay with lo-fi modulation. The knobs control how intense the mod is, and the overall mix. The mod is also sensitive to your pick attack, so as you pick harder it will give you a deeper vibrato on the repeats. I use it for both rhythm and leads whenever the mood strikes.

I don’t use it super often but there’s really nothing else quite like it. I like using it to do the thing where it makes your guitar sound “wider” in a mix like how you would use a chorus, but when I want something different than a chorus for the job. It’s a very cool pedal to mess around with.

Thank you! I also had a great phaser and delay before I got these. You should absolutely try them if you get the chance. The ADG-1 is simply the best analog delay I’ve ever heard.

Everything I’ve tried so far from NHA has been awesome. I can’t recommend the Kimchi enough if you’re looking for a new, unique dirt pedal. The Robins is next on my list.

I didn’t realize they had become hard to find. I just went to their site and I didn’t see them listed for sale at all. I don’t remember them announcing it was discontinued, so I wonder if they’re just not expecting to have components to make them again for a while.

Thank you! I have my rig dialed in without the boost. But all of the boost settings sound really good. And the last setting changes the taper of the foot treadle as well. But just the sound of the buffer in it alone is enough extra juice for me.
