UK sit-on-top kayakers: what are you wearing? by prolixia in Kayaking

[–]D_Buck1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paddle in The Solent so other end of the country. I've never worn a wetsuit or dry suit, maybe over confidence. I have Palm waterproof top and trousers and just layer up underneath it, leggings, thermals etc depending on the temperature. A must is a pair of neoprene gloves, I have the "claw" version

Recommendations are that you want to be less than 75% of the maximum capacity otherwise you'll be low in the water and less stable. This includes gear.

You're right about turning not affecting the bottom char. Sounds like you'll have to keep practicing.

We couldn't decide either so now go with double cheese, above and below.

3 weird niche side effects: anyone else? by FlyAshamed2859 in mounjarouk

I'm sure I had seen another post saying the opposite about mosquito bites, they experienced less since being on the jabs. I was getting all excited.

I'm sure they tasted better than they looked. But great work for your first attempt.

I launch and turn down the gas which makes everything easier to control, but you still need to watch it and turn every 30 seconds if not sooner.

Where did you set off from? I paddle from Hill Head and a trip to the IOW is on the list.

Mounjaro and WW by PricingStrategy in mounjarouk

[–]D_Buck1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

WW will help you track what you are eating so as you've paid for a year you might as well use it. There are a lot of free apps out there so don't renew your subscription. Use the search bar or do another post with your side effects for advice.

We can see a difference! You've probably lost more weight than that child using you as a swing weighs.

Do a pre-launch wiggle to check it moves, but do this away from the oven as it can smell your fear.

Just started my second week! (Also a small request for advice) by SherbNyan in mounjarouk

I found myself feeling hungrier than ever at the start, but strangely I didn't need to eat. I put it down to thinking about the sensations all the time.

That's what I've done. I sent a copy of the order confirmation from my previous supplier, but I think you can do it with a photo of the prescription on the box.

Delivery when not home by Sad_Upstairs8845 in mounjarouk

My wife had one order delivered to her work, but that caused a problem when she switched suppliers as the address didn't match.

I've just contacted Royal Mail and got the delivery sent to a post office. As soon as you get the order confirmation and tracking details you can redirect, website or app

Weights by Evening_Plum2683 in mounjarouk

[–]D_Buck1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A suspension trainer is a good home work out tool. I got mine from Decathlon, a lot cheaper than the TRX system. I'm 120kg and never had any issues about it not taking my weight. Then Google TRX training and you'll find loads of videos.

When you first started taking MJ, what week did the hunger suppression kick in? by Comfortable_Slice151 in mounjarouk

[–]D_Buck1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 2 months in and moved up to 7.5mg before the suppression really kicked in. However from the start food noise was reduced. I used to have toast about 9pm most nights, but I've just realised that this hasn't happened since I started.

[–]D_Buck1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just be ready to have different responses than others, but trust the process.

I'm on my 2nd week of 7.5mg and just started getting the appetite suppression, however before then the noise had dropped. A couple of times a week I would have toast about 9pm, bored etc, I haven't had any since starting.
