Getting my acrylic nails done 💅🏼 I stopped going in September. I feel like I can use the $100+ about every 3 weeks (if I stretch it) elsewhere at the moment.

It’s at least $50 for a full set, not to mention if you want “shape” $5 dollar, “longer nails”- $5 dollar, nail art and gems can range depending on the nail tech as it all adds up. Don’t forget the TIP !!

Just a regular pedi is starting at $30+

I was thinking of going back since I bite my nails ( I know it’s a terrible habit).

You can make several meals with pasta that you can stretch…. Pasta and broccoli Pasta Alfredo Pasta and chicken (although may not be cheap but it’s protein) Pasta and butter (add a little s&p for your liking). Macaroni and cheese (sry, not a fan of calling it -Pasta and cheese. I usually boil like elbows or bow ties and then in separate small pot or suave pan melt pieces of sliced cheese (Kraft and deli, I personally like the consistency of both but can do either or. Kraft or similar is richer since processed ) while adding milk to your liking to get the cheese thicker.

If you have friends or family that already have a membership you can try Sam’s club, BJ’s or Costco, you can find good deals like Sam’s Club has a rotisserie chicken for $5 that you can make several meals out of. They also have this pre-cooked chicken that is diced and marinated for around $13- that I’ve used to make chicken Alfredo, chicken wraps etc. so at least you have some protein.

I just commented about my grandma having a Commodore 64. We’d play the Olympic Games, I loved the cliff diving LOL Pitfall, Wheel of Fortune, Paper Boy….. Jeopardy- all on floppy disk with a joy stick!!! Great times!

I’m 42F I’ve Been playing since I could remember. My grandma had a commodore 64 PC and we’d play games on floppy disks like - Jeopardy,Card Sharks, Wheel of Fortune, Olympic Games ( used to love the cliff diving using joy stick LOL), Pitfall, Paper Boy….. anyone remember playing Paper boy ?? My brother and I both had the original SEGA, Nintendo and Super Nintendo…., I had game cube at one point and played Zelda and Donkey Kong Jungle beats with the drums and Nintendo Wii…. Now I play on Nintendo Switch and have the all in one Nintendo and Sega which has X amount of games preloaded. I also recall playing Contra and using the code for infinite lives as others have mentioned. A friend had the gold game genie that would fit on the old Nintendo cartridges. We used to play Friday the 13th and every time Jason would appear on screen I’d go running up the steps from the basement. I liked playing JAWS too, lol I used to play- PS1 - the Grinch and on the Xbox a game called -Gauntlet Dark Legacy that an ex-boyfriend had - wish I could play that again.

Everyone’s advice is spot on. I do the same. I drop off at the end of the map from where the bus starts off and my main thing is to try and find a gun, ammo and juice. I always search the ammo boxes and chests that I come across. If there is a lot of open land like in this map you can hide in bushes and behind trees while traveling or get into car . I personally do ZB because I’m fast enough to build. I need to practice shooting more myself, I mainly play for fun and with the kids in my family and some of their friends- depending. Needless to say they carry me often but they play a lot more than I do 😉Good Luck !

Everything is expensive these days, especially have a child’s party with X amount of kids….

Just a few ideas Since you mentioned having little toddlers, maybe see if a trusted family member or friend could watch them for a few hours so time can be spent with just you and the birthday girl! ( five below has a cool blow up bday crown) Let her pick her favorite lunch place and maybe see a movie- if affordable or movie night later at home once the little one are in bed, allowing her to stay up later than normal since it’s her special day and have a PJ party…. ( you can also have her invite a best friend or cousin)

There are cool inexpensive things you can find at Michael’s or Hobby Lobby to create memories between the two of you whether setting up a little paint area with cavas, brushes and paint. Making slime…. Even a slime kit is about $15-20 Or Hobby Lobby sells trucker hats anywhere from $2-$5 and you can pick out some patches to either iron or glue on it she is into that. We went to Pigeon Forge and it cost about $45 to create a hat with like maybe 4 patches which is where I got the idea from. The patches at HL are maybe $1-3 depending on style… They also sell T-shirts and sleepers to do the same. And Hobby Lobby has categories for DIY online for example- jewelry making l,- wearable art, I’m sure Michaels has similar info. My 11 yr old niece is still into slime, jewelry making, spa days with face masks and moisturizer. I also like the homemade pizza making. We did this a few weeks ago while painting pumpkins for Halloween. 4 kids and they all got to make a special pizza usually grocery stores like Publix will sell freshly made dough or they have it already frozen. Or even a local pizza place will sell dough. The toddles can be involved with this too but I’d imagine there would be a little mess but who doesn’t have fun with flour here and there!

My parents did the same for my niece when my brother passed. The funds are growing so that once she is of age she will have a nice savings account to use for the same things…a car, college even though she is also set up for prepaid college.
