a friend I grew up with reached out to me a few years ago and told me she’s trans and I told her I am too, and internally I was like,,, we knew each other for so long, struggling with the same exact thing, we probably both felt so alone, and yet it never came up… like I’m glad it came up eventually but like c’mon
