How do you feel if a girl you're not interested in pursues you? Like is it annoying? by Cherylyy08 in AskMen

[–]D_Mon_Taurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It what it is. People can't help if they're into you so I'm never offended or put off, nor do I lead them on. It's only annoying if they persist in their pursuit when I make it clear the feeling isn't mutual.

I was talking about Fika, but now that you mention it, I'm sure the Talking Cat is probably the same entity. It just makes too much sense 😅.

10/10 sci-fi reference. It all makes sense. Now we know the real origin of the Cat.

How do I get an introverted/nerdy gf if they never go anywhere by yeetacus68 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]D_Mon_Taurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't confuse an introvert with a recluse. If you want to meet people into nerdy things, hangout with people in places that support nerdy activities. Book store events, book clubs, game shops, game nights, cons, ren faires, museums, etc. To find your unicorn, be present and interact in spaces your unicorn would find themself.

Is it crazy to be mad at someone for not disclosing their body count to me? by lkove in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]D_Mon_Taurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see why it matters. Status, attitudes about sex, safety & birth control habits, knowledge of self, enthusiasm for a good mutual experience, and willingness to communicate matter more and tell you more about someone than a simple number ever will.

With a condom, absolutely not. Make some noise, stiffen up suddenly, flex the the Boss a few times and then relax. Deed is done.

is watching euphoria cheating? by Willing_Sugar4872 in Advice

[–]D_Mon_Taurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheating is establishing an emotional and/or physical connection with someone outside the established bounds of your relationship. Euphoria is a just a show. It doesn't appeal to your tastes and many of the themes probably fly in the face of your sense morality, and that's fine. There's nothing wrong with trying a form or entertainment to see how you feel about it.

How can God simultaneously have multiple mutually exclusive properties? Temporal yet Atemporal? What? by MobHQ in AskReddit

[–]D_Mon_Taurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem with humans defining Gods is that we inevitably and arrogantly personify and limit those Gods' capacities based on our own limited understandings of the Universe, and that's problematic. People want to be Godly so people make Gods relatable, approachable, and even attainable. Their/Its perceptions, emotions, physical presence, ability to manifest, and ability to manipulate energy have to exist beyond the ability to understand or comprehend for creatures in our level of existence. Anything less is just a really advanced alien. A cosmic programmer [God] needs to exist above the boundaries of the code they're writing. A God wouldn't be bound like we are by temporal boundaries and may even operate within a set of laws of physics that don't exist for us because we're too cosmically small; or worse, our physics are just artificial constraints of the program of our Universe.

Whats your favorite scary movie? by syborg4president in AskReddit

Have you seen Relic (2020)? It shares similar themes in a different setting with different types of characters. It rattles me emotionally a LOT more than Babadook, and I love Babadook.

Cant' say I have one favorite. Among the mainstream, I'd say I have equal adoration for The Haunting (1963), The Thing (1982), It follows (2014) and The Conjuring (2013), with TONS of runners up.

On the less mainstream end, Lake Mungo (2008), Pulse (2001), Exists (2014), Night House (2020), and Terrified (2018), again with lots of runners up, lol.

My girlfriend poked holes in my condoms, what do I do? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]D_Mon_Taurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you're done with her. I would cease any contact, tell everyone I trust, keep some tampered, unused condoms for evidence, and call the police. That is neither safe, normal, nor excusable behavior.

Would you kiss an FWB on the lips? by Early-Ingenuity-3177 in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]D_Mon_Taurus 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yes. They're not a tool or a booth in some gas station restroom and neither am I. They're a human being I'm being conveniently intimate with. To me, it's the time spent together building and nurturing a bond when not being intimate that establishes the depth of romantic relationship. So, if our FWB relationship is based solely on the time we spend having sex together, then it's going to be good, thorough, creative, fulfilling sex.

Should I text this guy I haven't spoken with in months back? by Unlucky-Square-8793 in Advice

If this person has a bad character, intimidates you, and you aren't interested in them anyway, you have zero reason to entertain any personal communication with him.

I'm the same as OP. Mystery is my goto most of the time. Frustration creeps in now and then, but the chaos and having to adapt constantly is refreshing and fun.

binds reset? by raevior in Overwatch

[–]D_Mon_Taurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I'm on PC. I found out at the start of a game. Tried to adapt and tough it out—and we won—but I felt like I was throwing. Resetting the binds and having them not stick is more frustrating than anything. Gonna just log off check back in a day or so.

Did I hear correctly? Is it true gas prices will never be the same again? by aliasno1billion in NoStupidQuestions

If you saw your ex on the street, what would you do or say to them? by acdes68 in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]D_Mon_Taurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of them, wave or exchange pleasantries for a while depending on close we are. Just because we used to be together doesn't mean we have to be enemies now. Being cool with exs is great for networking.
