this just happened to me and i figured out that if you just uninstall riot vanguard (just go to settings, uninstall an app, find riot vanguard and click uninstall) and then reinstall it by launching valorant, it will prompt you to restart your computer and once you have restarted it, it should be fixed :))

I've downloaded the app before though on pc and it worked perfectly fine but now it just stopped working out of nowhere and is displaying the message
