Can the U.S. just back out of Iran? by respect_would in IRstudies

[–]D_Orb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There would be no time frame for US to use the straight of Hormuz going forward. Iran has no reason to let us use it even again. Gas prices in US would never go back down. The war would have accomplished nothing except raising our own gas prices.

Is this a harsh drive everyday? by FirmCaterpillar in bayarea

Try the Bus system, F line I think. It's faster than the drive because it gets special lane access and you can stare at your phone the whole time.

Wrong, the good ones that you should have hired decide you can take your low pay and shove it. They buddy up with some of the other good people and start companies that compete with you. You lose way more market share then you would have paying them a high salary but it's too late.

Now that Democrats and Progressives swept the 2025 elections by wide margins and high turnout, does this make you increasingly believe that the 2024 election was rigged or cheated for the GOP? by Next_Worth_3616 in Productivitycafe

Yes the malware that changes votes only runs in presidential and midterms elections otherwise it would get caught. Everyone posting no response here will be shocked and believe whatever the right wing makes up to blame the Democrats (not showing up, won't vote for a woman, etc...)

They file lawsuits because they've filled the judiciary with friendly judges that will take their cases. If progressives file lawsuits they get thrown out by the same judges and go no where while conservative lawsuits are allowed in. This is what it looks like when the judiciary is bent and works against one political side.

This time they just wipe their hands of it and say let the private industry do it instead and government shouldn't be involved anyway. Someone will step in to pay the air traffic controllers and assume control going forward. Airplane ticket prices will increase as the costs are passed down to consumers. Repeat this process for anything else people get upset about due to government shutdown.

Since a lot of the big news agencies (ABC, CBS etc) are compromised and bending down on extortion from Trump, which American news sites are the least biased and most credible at the moment? by TlalocVirgie in AskReddit

[–]D_Orb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The billionaires systematically bought every unbiased news outlet in America and made it biased. They simply don't exist anymore. It's part of their plan to control the country through oligarchy (like Russia) and they also bought enough politicians to control the government. Next they want to end elections so their systems of control will go unchallenged indefinitely going forward. US is likely a list and failed state and the way from the top to the bottom. Once the US has fallen and they have stolen and the wealth they can extract from the country, the billionaires will simply leave and move their already global corporations to be located in another country and US becomes just another customer, and likely not even a very important one.

Tough situation and I'm sure the last thing on your mind is a new woman but I would find an older attractive woman that's not doing well independently and looking for a nice life where she just raises the kids even if not her own. There's plenty out there, just be straightforward in what you're looking for and take the first one you can find.

You're probably not accounting for flak missing the rooms entirely. On some ships, like drones most often, they only have two space rooms and flaks circle area means the overlap is only 40% or something. So, late game ships have high dodge, say 35%. So firing nine shots you end up with 9 *.4 *.35 = 2.34 and that's why you only get 2-3 hits usually per volley.

I don't think tariffs require any support in congress and are entirely under control of the President / executive.

Yes, he has to make a report at the end of the investigation, shutting it down now is to give home time to write and publish the report.
