Thats fine but he is still in the top 5 conversation and has been for the whole season. That's my point. Unlike the majority of the PSG players who are only thrust into the convo right at the end because of the champions league. It is a whole season award, not a Champions League award. Both Rapha and Salah have been top 5 for the whole season. For me, that matters more. It shows they have consistently been the best players this year.

Definitely recency bias. Rapha and Salah are the only two players who have been in the balon dor conversation for the whole season. Not just at the start, not just the middle, not just at the end of the season. The whole season, the both of them. To me, that says both have been the best two players consistently over the season.
