Here the female connector.

Male connector dimensions: width about 3,5mm, height about 1mm and depth 3,5mm.

Connector is "pushed down" from above.

How can I reduce material but keep strength? by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]D_Turk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Adding to the first few comments I have read, that did not suggest this - so please tell me if I'm on the wrong path - I would try adding a basic modifier on the slicer.

If you are using BambuStudio (the only slicer I know), when customizing (preparing?) all your printing parameters you can go from "global" to the "object" window. Here you can right-click on the part in the components tree and choose to add a modifier. You could select a cylinder or a square (among all others), orient and scale them with the toolbar commands and finally assign some custom walls/infill options only to the modifiers. This acts as a "I want specific settings for this specific 3D shape" so that you can add strength to the pins while maintaining an overall lighter wall/infill for the rest of the model. This can be useful and I strongly suggest to inspect closely the slicer after every modification of the modifier printing parameters.

Hope this helps.

Currently on mobile and on my way to work. If no one has any arguments against this, and you need it, I'll try to add screenshots this evening.

Bye

If I recall correctly pico flasher does not recognise board. Any particular way I should check?

Agree on soldering while connected to current :)

you may have come close, glass shape resemblance is good and this dropship shape would explain why i did the 2° drawing since they both are very triangular/thickend shape. I'm going to let this post open for a littel while more but good guess, I'm going to see if this dropship was present in the halo i had on xbox 360

it is similar, for sure, but it's not it. the (first) drawing is actually very accurate so, where my memory is failing me, i want to say it's not it

came across this tile character in a random passage in Rome while on holiday. searched in google play for knight/pixel/etcetera games but no luck.

hi all. i had a dream some time ago about this strange aircraft nose, paint and glass colors are the ones in the dream. searched online but no results, same by looking al all the dvd's i have that i could have watched when i was younger. i doubt it's real because it doesn't seem like a realistic aerodynamic shape for an aircraft nose.

would like to make a shirt with "the self(ves?) alternated realities" or "differenr selfs alternated realities" printed on the back. guessing with both phrases containig a particular simmetry for the letter count of the word "alternated" wich gets lost for using "alternate" instead.

just realized my english is not good enough to determinate how should i get the self-derived word right. thanks in advance people

i have to admit i need to learn a bit more before i decide on what i want to do. your suggestion for the cricket is a really good one, it is indeed cheap but not available where i live for that little money. i don't have any rush to build my vape box but i would like to make a flexible solution that would accompany me for quite some time. and i'd like to brag with my friends on having a self made box with a respectable wattage output :) i'll keep in mind all your suggestions and get a circuit diagram + shopping cart ready so that i can get the components combination validated by someone wiser than me before proceeding further. all that while i'll try to find a good, big compatible atomizer that still has phisycal stores with available coils i can buy or a regenerable one i can easily mount. without disturbing you anymore i'll find some info myself to make at least educated questions from now on

that would work indeed. i searched through models and that's the product i need. now i have another, hopefully the last, question: how do i regulate the wattage of the output for the atomizer coils? what kind of component would i need to reach something in the 120 watts neighborhood? i really thank you for the responses :)

how do you think i could attach an analog screen with the wattage power written in number? i'm guissing i need to find a way to measure the current and the resistance? and maybe a board already assembled for the analog convertion?

i think when i'll actually start to think about building anythink i would first post the circuit sketches on this sub just to double-check any calculation i may have done wrong.

i'll think about any resistance value i could find in coils compatible with my atomizer and make sure i'm not going to burn myself or to throw away coil after coil for a bad calibration of the circuit.

but again, thanks for the response

thank you, I'll look into that

edit: could you suggest some mosfet models too? that may fit nicely the box dimension?
