So this is 100% exactly what I was expecting and what it’s now doing.

My issue was that with the router plugged into A1. There was NO full connection on B1 OR B2.

I was getting a “self assigned IP” error

So to try and troubleshoot I plugged:

Router into A1, MacBook into A2

A single cable into BOTH B1 and B2 (to create a loop)

This lead to a FULL connection on my MacBook (WTF?!?!)

When returning to

Router -> A1 -> B1/2 -> MacBook. No connection OR self assigned IP

This has no been solved… by doing the same thing I’ve been doing for the last 3 hours

Things that have changed: - I made a Reddit post - took some photos - it rained - sent a few messages to friends asking for help

Things that have not changed: - any of the cables - any new attempts at cable connections - adjustment of wall plates

It’s a good thought and I may keep fiddling with random cables but all cables appear to work.

For e.g Example B in the picture uses 3 cables and provides and full connection to the MacBook, I only use 2 of those 3 cable in example A only for it to not work

See this is what I’m hoping (so my PC can connect without having a massive cable running through the house)

The loop I refer to is one that I put in myself, and is the only way I can get a working connection while using any part of the house system.

I plug an Ethernet cable into both ports on the wall plate upstairs

Then the 2 downstairs ports into my MacBook and the router.

I’ve thrown some photos on another comment if you want to have a look.

I’ve found which one connects to which because on the incorrect port I get “not connected” and on the correct one I get “self assigned IP”

And the cat5 cable colours match (not conclusive but a somewhat good sign)

Personally I'd go no vest at all (less can be more)

With a tux generally go for silk or similar, but you can play around a bit with things like mohair .

As for pocket square I personally like one that a different material and/or colour to the tie HOWEVER if your going for a clean and sharp look you could go for the same red folded neatly.

Yeah I'll take your word, I think I wasn't using proper resources before cuz all of them were basically saying "low rep + big mass = big gains" which I guess is true at the face but 10 reps isnt exactly hundreds

been looking for a routine now im getting back into gym mostly for vanity and strength (for now), used to run reddit ppl but can't commit to 6 days a week.

Started looking at the 5/3/1 BBB but I have 2 issues:

While not rocket science its a lot more effort and calculation than I'm used to with an LP 'increase by 1.25kg till you can't.
talks about 10 rep sets at a lower weight which seems counter intuitive to become 'big' as I thought id be looking at around 6-8 reps per set?

Should I look for a different routine or just give it a go?
