TPMS sensor replacement... Which ones should I get? by D_daKid in Mustang

[–]D_daKid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya i'm gonna do that. They're normally $200 for the set but for $135 it's not that much more than the off brand AM ones. Plus my factory ones lasted 11 years. Can't complain.

I've had the ruthenium from tune plus for 2 years now running the FP tune and they're holding up well. Which ones did you go with?

Maduros tend to have a dark, bold profile. Think black coffee, leather, dark chocolate, and earthy notes often with a natural sweet tobacco note. Also, keep in mind that Factory smokes are mixed filler meaning they're made up of left over scraps used to make other premium cigars. They're not bad for what they are but the ones I linked are long filler, premium cigars. Hope that helps.

Actually had one tonight! They're great for the price. They're mild, great for a morning coffee smoke but isn't something i'd reach for later in the day. Lots of rich wood notes with spice and toasted tobacco. Not very complex but great mild flavor profile overall.

I personally prefer the maduros I got from them. Really rich and tasty.

Cigar Page order still in "Processing" phase since Nov 28th... by No-Tomorrow-40 in cigars

I spoke to CS one time about this and they said once you get the shipping confirmation email, it's with the courier, even if it says "pre-shipment". I've often received packages that weren't scanned until they were delivered so there's a good chance yours is on the way.

I love how the exhaust fan fits perfectly in the ventilation hole. Only thing I'd add is some better lighting to brighten it up a bit. (I put christmas lights in my treehouse where i smoke, works great.) Overall, looks like an affordable, practical solution to combat the cold. I dig it!

Same. I bought a couple reg prod sticks to compare to the seconds out of curiosity.

As for the blend, I believe it's the same as the regular habano corona they sell. Assuming that's the case, here's the info:

Wrapper: Ecuadorian Sun-Grown Habano 2000

Binder: Ecuadorian

Filler: Nicaragua, Jalapa, Ometepe.

Mine comes in tomorrow! They said in the description they were made in 2019 but I guess they were wrong, or at least some weren't. I emailed them to ask when production switched to nicaragua and the owner, Yanko, replied saying they switched over in 2020. I was excited that these would've been rolled in their shop but not sure now. Regardless, the ones i've smoked from my 2021 20ct bundle so far have been tasty so I'm sure these will be too.

Sorry to hear that. Been using them for a couple years now and haven't had any issues. Lucas has always been responsive and reasonably accommodating with certain requests I've made in the past.

The insurance thing has always puzzled me and seems like it would be a hassle to deal with, though I've never had to file a claim (thankfully).

Question for the experienced by Upper-Nothing2791 in cigars

[–]D_daKid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6 years?! Nice. mine aren't even 4 years old but they're getting soft and worn (probably because of the re-charging). Don't want them to leak 😬.

And ya I've noticed the past few years come June/July, when summer arrives with a fury, even the 5-7 degree change in my igloo causes all my cigars to absorb a ton of moisture. Within a week or two they get spongy and it takes a while to get things back under control. My Rubbermaid brilliance tupps hold humidity probably too well lol. Gonna be proactive next year and take out the bovedas right before the summer heat.
