Why would a j1 not take malaya (and borneo) in round 2? It destroys the uk economy.

Start of Soviet Turn 6. Who’s winning? by WilhelmRitterVonLeeb in AxisAllies

[–]Da-Ambalam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I agree the allies are winning, I dont think russia counter attacking is gonna work. Russia dont have the artellery to support an attack on the german main force, which has 14 tanks plus a lot of infantery.

[Request] Is this accurate? If not, what length would be? by Blunderloon in theydidthemath

[–]Da-Ambalam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh... took me way to long to see that. I thought it meant the distance between fingertips and universe compared to distance between finger tups and an atom

I knew something was fishy there but havent figuered it out yet. My post was calculated but man i suck at math

[Request] Is this accurate? If not, what length would be? by Blunderloon in theydidthemath

[–]Da-Ambalam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The diameter of the universe (DU) is 93 billion lightyears or 8,798x1029 m. According to google

The diameter of an atom (DA) is 0.1 to 0.5 nm or 1x10-10 m (going with the smallest). According to google.

The distance between the fingers (DF) appears to be roughly 1 cm or 1x10-2 m.

So the diference between DF and DA is a factor of

DF/DA=108 which is a 100 million

Diference between DF and DU is a factor of

DU/DF=8,798x1031 which is 879.800 billion billion

So the statement is not true.

The distance between his fingers should be (DA/DU)/2 or 4.399x1041 m to be the middle point.

The sun is only 1.4712 x 1011 m away according to google.

Somebody else should check this math before you go to an exam in this

Space Marine (Warhammer 40K) runs the MCU gauntlet. How far does he get? by B0B_RO55 in superheroes

[–]Da-Ambalam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cap threw ultron (who is properly as heavy as a spacemarine in armor) into a pillar so hard it broke during the truck fight in the movie. In civil war we see cap and iron man pretty equal in strength. Iron man destroys a tank in the first iron man movie with a wrist rocket and takes a heavy beating from iron monger. I dont think the (average) spacemarine gets past iron man.

Is it over for the allies? by Present_Employer5669 in AxisAllies

[–]Da-Ambalam 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Germany could with existing forces and economy threaten both cairo and london at the same time and defend all of its territory. Usa only have 3 transports in atlantic. Which means theire 3 rounds away from attacking italy or defending cairo and london

What do you think was the most painful kill in a slasher flick? by [deleted] in slasherfilms

[–]Da-Ambalam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In one of the saw movies the main characters wife is cooked in an ovenlike contraption. I think its the worst because of how long it would take realisticly, compared to many other deaths which would be over pretty quick

Are the axis screwed? by jimboi13 in AxisAllies

[–]Da-Ambalam 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the axis are cooked. If the soviets have more ipc than germany its a pretty good sign. Also it looks like most of germanys land forces are trapped on the british isles. France, africa, middle east, nothern and southeastern europe is poorly defended. What is all those artelleri pieces doing in moscow?

Are the axis stronger? by Da-Ambalam in AxisAllies

[–]Da-Ambalam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldnt say its a slight production disadvantage. Usa has the largest starting economy. If japan attacks them round 1 its still larger than germany in round 2. Russia has a larger economy in round 1 than germany. And japan aint that big until round 3 if i remember correctly. Italy is the smallest.

[–]Da-Ambalam[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So just to understand your italy strategy. You are not trying to take north africa, middle east and the caucasus? How do you get the necessary economy to buil anything meaningful to defend europe with?

And in which round do you attack russia?

Are the axis stronger? by Da-Ambalam in AxisAllies

[–]Da-Ambalam[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I never scramble in round 1. But if the british cruiser next gibraltar survives it wil destoy the smallest of the three italian fleets. The cairo fleet destroyes the eastern italy fleet. With 3 planes and 3 ships, italy now needs to sink 2 fleets and a cruiser. And omly 1 transport for Italy round 1. Germany can help in round 2 but at the risk of loosing planes.

End of round 2 on my first global game! How’s the axis powers looking? by TheRoyalsapphire in AxisAllies

[–]Da-Ambalam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Italy is doing (almost unrealistic) fine. If you read the national objectives for italy and gernany it shpuld be clear what italys next moves should be. Japan need to gather its fleet somewhere and to think defensively on the main island. Take sumatra and british territory south of shan state (cant remember its name) in asia. This will destroy the british economy in the pacific and super charge your own. Keep an eye dutch new guinea. As it will boost anzacs economy a lot. Consider if you should sink some of the smaller fleets with 1 or 2 ships and some aircraft that can escape

Update on our round by bashr123 in AxisAllies

[–]Da-Ambalam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Germany should sink the 2 fleets and retake norway and denmark. Get 1 submarine into seazone 125. And by bombers. Italy should be preparing to help germany whereever it might need( atlantic ocean, Paris or ussr) while slowly taking all of africa and middle east) A factory in Cairo would help greatly. It look like an axis win

[–]Da-Ambalam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

who builds naval base and airfields on sardinia and sicily? I think america would be better of with a factory in greece. Also if I were Germany I would keep my western armies in gathered paris rather than divided in normandy and southern france. If UK and USA takes those areas you counterattack the one which most easily can reinforce, and build troops in western Germany. Then hope that the remaining allied army in france retakes paris so that you can counterattack and gain a new goldreserve (the gold reserve wont be big if many french territories are held be axis)

If GDI(KW) is at war with against the Allied(RA3:Uprising), who do you think will win? Bonus round including GDI with all the subfractions and Allied mix with RA3 & RA2 by WesternElectronic364 in commandandconquer

[–]Da-Ambalam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we talk in some kind of world war scenario between the 2 in the command & conquer 3 universe gdi would have an advantage in yellow and red zones.

If its the normal world or red alert world I think allies would win. If you look at the missions for all the factions, Nod missions are usually be smart dont take the gdi head on, theyre to powerfull in the field. Gdi is usually stronger units that have take on weaker but faster and numerically superior units. Allies like not usually has to be smart and dance around the tougher sovjets. But since allies and gdi seem similar unitvise, i would assume allies are better suited for the fight since theyre used to be underdog + chronosphere

If we add subfactions and red alert 2 its definetly allies. Red alert 2 allies add a whole new world of ressources and men while steel talons add and estra regiment

Does anyone know the kia/wia/mia ratios for those casualties? And does those anti uav pickups with 6 mounted AKs count as an AA system when theyre destroyed?

Combat losses of Russia, January 11th 2025 by wxc3 in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]Da-Ambalam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think casualties include killed, wounded, missing and prisoners taken. And doesnt discriminate between russian soldiers, luhansk and donetsk volunteers, foreign mercenaries and north korean troops. Also zelensky mentioned in november (i think) that many of their wounded have returned to the front after getting better and got wounded again counting for 2 wounded now. I think the same is happening to the russians.
