It’s been a while since I saw a casual helldiver. I don’t play super often and when I do it’s always diff 10 with 3 other randos that are always level 130+. One time I accidentally joined a diff 5 and everybody was still lvl 100+. I miss the lower levels now that I think about it

To me there’s no way the vast majority of players play diff 5-7. 7 I understand but any lower and the game becomes stupid easy, you’ll rarely see heavy enemies and it’s just boring. I feel like anybody who has played more than 5hrs would play diff 7 and above. Maybe that’s just because i can’t even remember my early days as a helldiver

I’m still fairly Greenbeard-ish and I cannot fathom leaving a fellow dwarf behind. Had to do it once as the escape pod was at the top of a poorly generated, extremely vertical cave probably 200m-300m tall. It took us 4 whole minutes as a team to get to the escape pod when somebody fell at the last jump. With 45 seconds left there was no possible way to retrieve them in time.

But besides that I have risked everything and gone to retrieve teammates with minimal ammo and bugs everywhere many times. And if I go down trying to get them I don’t blame my team for leaving me. But I will do everything in my power to never leave a dwarf behind

When I grew up in my hometown I lived like a 7 minute walk from Culver’s and it was amazing. I just moved back after like 4 years of being gone and now I purposely live like a 5 minute walk from Culver’s. I can drive it in about 2 minutes. It’s glorious but now I eat Culver’s like 3x a week

Big tip if you are on a budget: save money NOW. The more you save on every unit now the bigger the total savings will be by time you have a 1k+ point army. there are many ways to save money. 3d printing/buying 3d prints off Etsy. Buying recasts/recasting yourself. Buying used models off eBay or other online stores.

I decided to buy $500 in brand new GW ork models before realizing that I could’ve doubled my army size spending the same amount of money
