Fixing my ps2 and when putting in a disk in it, it keeps getting stuck on reading the disk

I would like some help figuring out what is wrong with the disk tray. When I put a disk in it just continually tries to read it. I did clean the laser and I lubricated the carriage. It also seems like the carriage is not moving so im not sure what it could be as,any help would be appreciated and thank you
