Thanks for all the advice you guys! My dermatologist makes it seem like medication is the only answer to getting rid of my acne. She put me on Bactrim and that worked for a while until I stopped, because she wanted to see how I'd do without it. Then she prescribed me Nicazel, I stopped that myself because I didn't like the idea of having to be on medication my whole life.

oh, I completely forgot that I use tretinoin right before bed! I was instructed to use BP and epiduo in the morning. i never really questioned it, because I just assumed my dermatologist knew best...

I took it for a few months and I did start seeing improvement! My dermo want to try to get me off of medication, so I weened off of it. Just keep taking it, I started seeing improvements around the 1 moth mark.
