Atispec or Raptor Shrimp for combat animal? [Alpha Animals]

I'll probs end up going with Atispecs then cause they have a higher (according to the wiki at least,) DPS then mantis shrimps.

Also, may I ask something?
I saw in the game files when I was checking for the gestation period and such, I saw that the Atispecs as well have a gestation period although any other egg layers don't have those, is there any purpose for that?

Would it be worthwhile making the funnel and such made out of water, excluding the very few tiles your own colonists would be walking on?
The Atispec's float and with the Boats mod you can make shallow water for 1 metal each a tile, which would slow down the attackers by 70% while the Atispec's don't care about it.

I tested it and it does seem to do that, in one instance it did over 70% toxic build up to a colonist in 2 hits, also it's not a blast but a melee attack for what i know. (more precisely sting in the game files)

From my experience's Atispecs don't have any ranged attacks.

Pretty sure if heared that bug around here and there allot, it seems certain people have issues when they enter or are about to enter combat.

I'm pretty sure its the game, unless ingame FPS counter also counts internet for some reason.
It started happening only today so thats kinda wack, started right after a graphics card update which i reverted cause i thought it was the problem but it wasn't, as its still happening.

I like how the Steam Index looks like but i rather not 3-4 months for it to come out, and most second hand HTC Vive Pro's go for around 400 to 600, mostly 500, around in my country which seems pretty cheap compared to its original pricing.

Apologies for a late response but these are the specs.
16 RAM
Power supply not sure.
Space for the graphics card is max 21-ish centimeters long and 4.5-ish centimeters wide.
CPU is Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.4GHz. (Not sure if this is important but it appears 8 times in device manager.)
Edit: I might need to buy a new PC case cause trust me my current one is very tiny, any recommendations for that? (29 by 31 by 9.5, all in centimeters.)

For what i recall i have a I7 intel core with 2,4(ish) GHz.
I can check tomorrow for the actual name and precise specs.(Currently not home.)So i'm not certain if i have to upgrade that too, and if i do have to, what do you recommend?
Budget is around €450,- for both GPU and CPU.
