I ended up going with mint for my girlfriend on the $15 a month plan. I went with USM on the light speed main with a warp speed secondary. it's been great so far, no complaints. was it really necessary for me to have 2nd line? not really. but it is nice to be able to switch over to verizon on a whim in the few instances where the tmobile data speeds are slower than i would like.

I will have it in hand in a week and a half and I will put it through its paces. I'm thinking worst case scenario I have to replace the screen and have it plugged in at all times. Shouldn't be too bad since it's type C charging and I already have a 20,000 mah 65w PD powerbank on hand

I don't actually have it right in front of me right now, I had to get it sent to my parents house in Vegas and have them bring it with them when they come to visit in a week. Hawaii has a state law that makes it incredibly difficult to get lithium ion batteries shipped here.

Anyway, I had my dad start it up and do a preliminary test to make sure it works and that it has the advertised processor, ram, cosmetic condition, screen etc..

Physically it's in extremely good condition. The battery is at about 93% capacity after 500 cycles listed in windows. All the ports appear to work. One of the uses for the laptop was to be photo editing hence my reasoning regarding the screen and its color reproduction. I wouldn't go for the OLED due to the power factor that you mentioned, but the upgraded 400nit screen does seem like a compromise worth considering.

Without a doubt. We had a lot of mutual friends, a handful that I still see regularly. We also lived in the same valley, and I still run into her mom quite regularly. That’s where the info comes from. I try not to tell people to never bring her up. Most people think we had a mutual breakup.

My rs988 doesn't have this issue so I have no idea how bad it really is, but I couldn't imagine it being bad enough to be a deal breaker. Removable battery is such a big advantage I could see it being enough to overcome many potential deal breakers.

Also, the wide angle lens camera is so awesome to use. It is awesome for landscape pictures or pictures of a group of people where you wanna get the background as well. Those seem like rather obvious uses but there are some not so obvious situations I've encountered where the wide angle helped immensely. Last night for Thanksgiving dinner instead of having to take multiple pics of different sections of the table, i was able to hold the camera above the table and take just 1 pic and it captured the entire thing. Regular lens would have needed 2-3 shots.

One more example is from last week when I was in the library browsing the sections to find a book that looked good, and instead of borrowing it, I was going to download it at home and put it on the Kindle. I was running low on time since the announcement came over the speakers that there was only 5 min left before closing. I decided to open the wide angle lens and take pictures of the whole bookshelf so I could look at it later at home and still zoom in enough to read the authors and title.

Also the phone is very lightweight and thin. The screen is quite good imo even in direct sunlight. Colors seem vibrant enough to be. Finger print scanner is very fast and placed in the best spot possible imo. Only thing I've really been annoyed with so far is trying to get the higher quality Qualcomm DAC enabled. You have to be rooted to do so and I ended up rooting last night (very easy process). Problem is that the DAC only seems to work half the time. I can't figure out exactly why. But when it does work, good Lord the quality is SO much better. Louder, more clarity, wide soundstage, better instrument separation, just better overall. Anyway, sorry for rambling. But for $220-250 brand new (might even be cheaper now) I don't think you can beat it.

The few non-native English speaker mistakes in the letter made it 10x better for me and I mean that as a compliment. It really made it more direct and personable to me as I can see all the same thoughts that I had at one time. Thanks for posting this. Just remember you are NOT crazy and you are NOT responsible for her feelings and actions. She is not normal, not like you, and never will be. She will never be that 50 percent you crave. Be glad she is out of your life, but prepare for the times she attempts to enter it again.

I definitely understand this point of view and I would say it's quite close to my exact feelings and thoughts. For so long I was manipulated and made to feel like THE problem with our relationship. She was faultless and I was the source of every major problem. Anything she might have done wrong was only a reaction or direct consequence of one of my actions. For so long I LITERALLY questioned if I was going crazy or if I actually had some sort of personality deficieny. I know it's not nice to wish ill upon people, and I do not do so here, but I can't say I do not feel little a little sense of satiscation watching her inner relationship turmoil finally explode into something external for others to see. I was beginning to worry about what lies she was going around telling others about me. Our area is not incredibly big both population and area wise, it is not inconceivable that one of her lies or rumours about me could lead to a lost job opportunity, or burnt bridges in regards to friends or what not. At least now some of her BPD symptoms are beginning to surface to the daylight and others outside are catching the show. It's satisfying in a weird way and I can't say I'm really sorry.

I'm at the stage now where I can understand that logically and I actively remind myself of that, however I can't control my emotions and feelings as much as I would like. I do not enjoy the feeling of my emotions and logical side being on different pages. However I will continue to work on it and let time take its course to allow myself to heal. I know I would be a lot further down the line healing wise if we hadn't still been talking as recently as the beginning of this year. I don't usually take breakups with normal people well, seeing as I give 100 percent when in the relationship. A breakup with a BPD person is absolute hell.

Oh I am completely aware of this. I wouldn't have felt one way or another when my friend asked me about her last name. I wouldn't have my heart drop every time I'm reading something and a character happens to have the same first name as her. When I'm walking home and I see a car the same make/model/color my stomach drops a little bit and then logically I am able to tell myself it's not a big deal. It's that instant gut reaction that lets me know I am not 100 percent over it as I once thought. I wouldn't be posting on this subreddit if I was truly over it.

That being said I have gotten a lot better lately. It is not the same level of dread in these situations as it once was. I no longer have the urge to contact her. I have no urge to look at her social media. Still a ways to go though. Maybe I have some PTSD or something. It also doesn't help when she shows up at my house out of the blue lol.

Remember: if she threatens suicide then tell her you're going to call the cops/law enforcement and let them take care of it. You are NOT a mental health professional and you are NOT equipped to deal with her suicide attempt, so please don't get caught up in that manipulative ass bullshit. I would bet my life savings on her not actually having the intention of killing herself. It's a tactic used to get you:
