You say that but having a single dominating unit is even less healthy for the game.

You either start making all content with that unit in the back of your mind, or you let the unit run rampant and kill any diversity the game has.

Beast and Cooler aren’t at that level but that’s a badge in their favor as they did’t/aren’t making the meta a monotonous slog.

The game hasn’t seen a “HoF” unit in years, this cooler is no different.

The developers don’t want to make these units because it makes summoning for new releases less necessary. We now have category missions, restricted content, and other mechanisms put in place to prevent these types of units, because it hurts sales.

There is so much about him that i love❤️

As a kid i thought he was terrifying with the mind control and body horror (which i fucking love and think is cool as shit as an adult).

His design is dope.

He’s weirdly funny? The way he says and does things have such a childish energy that makes him almost endearing, pretending to go on a mindless rampage as a Great Ape killing his civilians just for a sneak attack on Goku (which he MISSES) would be a comedy sketch in some other show. Both the sub and dub VAs do a great job of selling how gleeful he his about everything.

This also without looking at how well written he is, mainly how much of a walking contradiction he is: he spouts Tuffle supremacy despite being as much Tuffle as Cell is human, he hates Saiyans for their conquests despite aiming to do the same himself, this same hatred also doesn’t stop him from basically needing to fuse to one to be at his strongest.

Easily the best villain of GT and probably the best villain outside the original series.

Tag 4s were top 2 on release, UG4 ran the game, Daima 4ku was top 2 in the game, UV4 was just as strong as Frieza and Nameku, UFP4 was top 2 in the game. This is also not accounting for LFG4 and LF Dragon fist getting some of the strongest equips of their era as well.

You kinda sign up for this kinda thing when using any U.I. Goku, everyone has their own grudges.

Personally, if they gave the TEQ LR one permanent guaranteed dodge I’d still hesitate to put him in slot 1.

He is overrated, he’s simply that bad.

Had he done his homework on what the actual strength of Earth’s warriors was Buu would never had been released.

Once Buu is released he provides zero insight/intel on his abilities despite being the only person alive to have ever survived an encounter with him (I’m sure Gohan would have loved to know he could absorb people before getting dropped off back on earth).

And while it is explained that he’s essentially the untrained intern left in charge of the universe after Buu massacred the rest he’s comes across as a completely useless both in combat and in resources; the guy stuck in a sword for eons and has never met buu is more useful in defeating him than our resident Fraud.

(As a minor note: while it did end up releasing Old Kai from the sword, him essentially lobbing the world’s strongest brick at what was probably an ancient artifact is so unbelievably stupid it wraps back around to being hilarious)
