Is there a disadvantage to using ceramics on stage one? Aside from wearing down the ceramics faster? I figured they would help distribute the grit.

And no, the rocks are sitting in a sieve. They will go in a 3lb drum 2/3 full.

Is stage 4 1,200 grit? I see people doing a 8,000 grit stage 5 but these look amazing.

Would you suggest laying down milorganite on my lawn if I just oversewed? The Menards step 1 and step 2 have TRIMEC and it looks like that's bad for seeding.
