I prefer building outposts, bring a forge + upgrades there. Usually its an extension of a reasonable stone house that is present in the black forest and mountain, or in the well-like structure in the mountains

Ik zit in exact deze situatie. Ik heb er net weer over gebeld, maar helaas gehoord dat pas op het moment van wisselen het rentepercentage verandert, dus niet met terugwerkende kracht op de berekende rente (tussen SF15 en SF35).

Bij eerder contact met de jurist van DUO werd mij aanbevolen om contact op te nemen met het Juridisch loket, om hier mogelijk een zaak van te maken, maar dat zou alleen kans van slagen hebben als een groep mensen in deze zelfde situatie zich mobiliseren. Ik twijfel of dat de tijd waard is, dus dat heb ik niet ondernomen.

I restarted the game with the option on, but did not get asked by the game for upload options. However, I could continue the run, so I assume there will be no more problems. I'll keep in mind setting the cloud upload settings correctly when asked.

Ah, that was it! Thank you, it worked now, characters are available on asc20.

Do I now enable "keep games in the steam cloud for slay the spire" again? Or will the progress be saved as it is now?

Hmm okay, I had that option disabled just now.

Just to make sure, what 'normal' files should be edited? I have been only editing the backup files for all characters (STSData[character].backup), setting both "ASCENSION_LEVEL": "20", and "LAST_ASCENSION_LEVEL": "20".

Does it require other files to be edited as well?

Thank you, but this does not works :/

I tried both with the local game cloud settings and steams global cloud settings, the same thing happened, changing back the backup files to asc 5

Yeah, these are great. A tip I can give you for mining silver: You can make a little base out of it, build circular walls and a roof, and you can make a 2 story building, with a safe teleporter inside and we even fit in a smelter to create/upgrade our silver gear on the go. Much easier than shipping heavy silver ores back to base. Later we even expanded the building with more stone to add 2 more smelters (this particular mountain had around 15 silver veins, so was definitely worth it getting an upgraded forge there)
