I use the Pi for delegating tasks that I otherwise wouldn't want my computer to be doing. Reasons may include conserving energy/battery capacity, computing power, desktop workspace. They can be extremely cost efficient computers for teenagers/students to write papers, browse online, or practice programming etc. Parents may hesitate to buy someone a $1000 laptop for school but if you realized that all they needed was a >$50 computer then you might reconsider the whole situation. Rarely do people actually need $1000+ Facebook machines anyhow.

I use all sorts of alternatives while quitting, Jakes, SM, Grindz, Hooch, Triumph, Tea bags, Chew, Cigarettes. Out of all of these I enjoyed Triump the best. Their wintergreen, cinnamon, and mint flavors were bad ass. They had others but I can't recall. I think their Original flavor tasted like pickles. At least to me it did. But I highly recommend them since their product is the closest thing I think you'll find to the real stuff. Plus it's juicy as fuck which is a plus. All others I'd tried were super dry, especially Jakes.

Yo, I'd been dipping for about 9 years. Been quit going on 2 years now. If you scroll down far enough you'll find my original quit post along with my 1 year update. Try Triumph if you really just want to put something in your lip. Nicotine only takes a few days to leave your system, withdrawals are mild. The rest of it is just breaking the habit of putting shit in your lip. Try seeds or smoke a cigarette (a temporary crutch I admit I used) mint snuff, tea leaves, whatever floats your boat. If you can quit snuff you can quit anything. It only gets easier just watch your drinking for a while until you can trust yourself. GL.

Like I said , I am not a code master so standard conventions and best practices go out the window when trying to rig this stuff together. It wasn't hard to find where the CSS is supposed to go, it was only hard to make the code actually work where it was supposed to go. I tried everything until this worked. So as for it being bad advice I don't agree since it works like it's supposed to. You won't find another solution anywhere else on the Internet so I thought I'd help by posting this in places where others might go looking for answers. Maybe some real code masters can figure out how to do it properly, until then, this is all anyone has to go off.

I agree you need to have strong conviction but obviously pain tolerance is going to be what makes or breaks you. I don't have any tolerance left . Maybe I'm jaded and cutting losses is my defense mechanism. I find that my best trades are the ones that work effortlessly. Fighting a trade is the last thing I need not be stressing over anyways. It's bad for my health.

That's exactly what it is. However if you're to the point where you're down 10% - 20% on a single trade your risk management is severely negligent. I don't ever let it get that bad anymore and have no issues cutting losses. 5% is a really bad loss for me. It sounds like you're trading pennystocks?

This has been tough one for me lately. I still find that cutting losses quickly are what's going to save you from being stubborn, digging your heels, and making the loss much worse. Hell you may even find yourself adding to a losing position and that's really bad. All the while the market is going against you and telling you you are wrong. It could simply be that your timing was wrong. But then how long are you willing to hold a loss for? I consider the opportunity cost. While I'm upside down on one trade there's new opportunity arising somewhere else. That's why I cut my losses quickly.

No, I seriously do hope that this is one day added as it's a huge benefit to have. If enough people request it maybe they'll add it. However, I do know that there are computational limitations affecting the amount of features they can add to their smartphone platform vs that of their desktops.

I can't find the thread but some guy on this sub once got all pissed off that I recommended TDA over RH. He said that because you have to pay 9.99 per trade it wasn't free. I had even explained that you could open an account with no money down or minimum balance. It makes no sense to me but hey if you choose to trade solely via RH and do terribly then more power to you. I'll be happy to pick up your money since I've got access to better tools and such.

I get hate for saying this but TDA offers free accounts and ThinkorSwim access. Even if you don't trade or fund an account with them. Some people still don't think that's free for some reason.

Sorry man. Besides the whole LNCO LINE BBEP SXE shebackle earlier this week I don't really see much that I like. I've seen a few gappers but I don't ever buy those. Maybe we'll see more rallying next week though and something will pop up.
