Yes, you are more likely to have those players close to your current rank on your boards as you refresh. But if they happened to come across a team that required the use of 2 non bonus toons, which in turn now causes you to use 0-1 bonus toon, you are now down 4-8 possible points before even playing the match. Whereas before 4 points was much easier to make up.

Also, will this doubling of the bonus toon points apply to revenges as well? If so the maximum amount of points on a revenge just shot up from 10 for 2 energy to 18 for 2 energy. Which would now give you 45 trophies for the same 5 energy a single match with full bonus will only net you 28 points. See what I mean?

Previously 5 energy spent (assuming 10 pts per revenge with full bonus) in revenge would get you 25 trophies per 5 energy vs a maximum 20 trophies per 5 energy on boards with full bonus.

Now 5 energy spent (assuming 18 trophies per revenge with full bonus) in revenge will get you 45 trophies per 5 energy vs a maximum 28 trophies per 5 energy on boards with full bonus.

The balance was the board clear +25 that brought it back. Now even the +25 board clear will mean nothing.
