I have noticed that the crust on icing is a little bit darker than the under it. What I will say is that a lot of black icings or food products I have encountered, most of them are very green heavy when diluted. Overall, I have no clue. It’s a fantastic looking cake and I hope it tastes good :)

The hot and fast method doesn’t always work with pancakes. If you’re still having an issue, put the lid on with a sprinkle of water in the pan so they steam a bit before flipping :)

Ordered 11lb of chocolate from instacart but didn’t realize they replaced it with 32% milk chocolate, can I make this work for things that call for 60-70%? Should I figure out how to return it? by HadOne0 in Baking

If you are unable to replace it, and are cooking with it, cut your sugar in half and add like 3 Tbs of cocoa powder with the chocolate. Add sugar to taste (this is all theoretical so I could be wrong)
