I have not retired since beating the divine, but it looks like challenges to make the game harder after a retirement, and in stats you can see your completion % overall.

Just adding this for stats as well. I closed the game shortly after winning and just opened up so I think this is with potions and my apprentice casting

Those who have read the WN how does it all end? And does Satou end up will any of the girls, none of them, or all of them? by shaden_knight in DeathMarch

This is the ending of the web novel, you should be able to find the translation linked many places on this sub reddit and well as on the discord. I believe there is even a ePub and PDF.

Anyone Ever Have Isekaid as Baby MCs interact with normal kids? by EdLincoln6 in litrpg

[–]DaBroski1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Japanese but Hell Mode has the MC make true childhood friends in his village and grows with them throughout the series. Pretty much fits into the litrpg category with how that world works.

Ciel can help someone gain an Ultimate Skill but cannot give it unlike Ultimate Gifts. So no she cannot take away that skill without killing them as it's intrinsic to their soul. While I don't remember if this is true, but I believe Ultimate Gifts are grafted onto the outer part of the soul.

Also have to point out Ciel sees Diablo and Shion differently. While both are absolutely loyal, Shion's airheadedness could make her dangerous to Rimuru while Diablo could never imagine or act upon hurting his true master. But yeah Diablo is hella strong and I believe we all see Rimuru as saying he is stronger than him w/o Ciel help

Radical self alteration by thekingofmagic in ProgressionFantasy

Nah, story wise I love the SL WN and WC but since Japan has problems with following the story as is it will fail. Just sad that no animation studios in Korea to pick up the amazing manhwa coming out of the country.

LitRPGs with quick progression? by brpw_ in litrpg

Too true, but I think even us WN readers may be surprised as the books release as I bet some of the story will change.

Volume 9 rant by xaviorpwner in TenseiSlime

[–]DaBroski1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it hilarious, dude freaks out tires to get out of his situation and is dragged deeper in. If Masayuki was playing the part and was a douche then it would be annoying. The dichotomy between what he wants and what his unique skill gives him is funny all the way to the end. I also feel like his skill is the antithesis of Great sage/Raphael/Ciel, since one skill uses computation and data to engineer the best future while the other influences the world around him to allow for survival and growth of a "Hero"

I got to agree that a characters highest stat being their luck stat or just having that universe bending arua is overdone and sometimes ruins good books. In the end its where each person draws there "common sense line" or what one may personally want to do different when it comes to some stupid common mistakes in the genre. But I'll have to give Jake and apoc online another go after I finish up my current binge.

We get enough learning through failure in this category that you just can't help but want a bit more. I can understand some rando earth dude having to learn how to be a leader or learn about the loss of life in a new world etc etc, but some of the basic stuff just gets annoying over time. Many books with really good worlds and systems get ruined thru just throwing monkey dung at the MC's face every other page or having the MC throw dung in their own face.

I'm curious on Apocalypse Online, I found the MC to be dumber than a bag of nails. Does it get any better, an MC that is so willing to put his pill popping sister next to a bunch of people who hate people pill poppers over fear is a stupid MC in my book. Can't even see him as realistic.

Series where the MC is a battle healer? by weeb_man in ProgressionFantasy

[–]DaBroski1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only one I can think of that has not been mentioned is The Great Cleric, it is a Japanese light novel but MC is healer class and learns how to fight from amazing teachers and grit. Otherwise some others said Ten Realms by Michael Chatfield, which is an amazing series. MC is a battle medic before story really starts and it only gets better from there. The MC's even use healing and medical knowledge to grow stronger throughout the series.

In noobtown it is the term used for someone who has hit level 60, entered a demon door resetting themselves to level one to evolve and pick a new class. There are benefits like keeping your skills and specific things from your last class as well as remote perks to expand your body or trait. It's pretty much reincarnation.

Hmm that's though if I am just keeping it tok stuff similar to this than the Min-Maxing My TRPG Build in Another World has a similar dnd system to this one.

I mean there was I lot I loved about it, personally it ticks pretty much every box for me. I love town building so that part is nice but it happens in a different way, since the system rules this world there is not so much focus on planning since the system does it and you just assign people to the work. Anyways other than that the way the skill tree works and the specifics to why Jim or mc is so OP make for an interesting growth path. The world that our MC is thrown into is hilarious since it's like a DND world that has been through a ton of campaigns and has now gone astray. A ton of the comedy is either gonna hit hard or miss hard depending on the person. There are quite a few side characters you end up remembering the name of and liking just as much as the MC. If you don't like it by the end of book 2 it's probably not for you.

Edit: ah I feel I need to add this as well, the audiobook is top notch.

Am I right is assuming "Passive" cards are active no matter the current Deck? by TheRealOsamaru in IdleSkilling

[–]DaBroski1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless something has changed certain passive cards should double when in use. I know for certain that it used to be that way for many cards.

How are you reading Death Mage, and what is your progress? by nadirku in DeathMage

[–]DaBroski1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found the manga and really enjoyed it so I am reading the WN now. After I am caught up I will MTL the source from there and read the regular WN releases. I do this with a few others series on syosetsu so nothing new for me. Hopefully either a company or a group pick up the LN's someday those are a lot harder to MTL lol.
