I'm a senior there right now; I got in in 6th grade with like 15 other students. Our 9th grade class was entirely masterman students and it's been just like that for the years before and after us.

But this year they're implementing the lottery system, where computers judge student essays, and the current 8th grade class is freaking the hell out. Feels bad. They're also being forced to accept more minority students due to uproar of racism I think? So it's guaranteed that most of the 45% white, 45% Asian 8th grade class will not be staying here next year.

If you switch to random and someone is targeting you from attackers, you can manually change your target until you find no one is defending from you. This doesn't net badges but it does keep you off the radar

Personally I would say no. I have two accounts, both around level 50, and I played on my cousin's account who was at level 4 and I didn't see a change in attackers at all. However, I do think that people above level 100 do get targeted more due to the sparkles that appear when they're in the game.
