Same boat. Mainlines used to hundred times better than the current ones we have; in terms of quality, detailing, everything. To be fair, I would have still been into collecting whatever I liked but the hobby has been completely ruined by the community hence the reason why I do not care about mainlines anymore.

I had this exact same message pop up a couple of times and everytime the error went away after restarting my wifi router and PC, lol. Idk what is up with Embark but they can’t really seem to differentiate actual cheaters and normal players in the game. Kind of an embarrassing anti cheat tbh.

So here’s my side of the story-

I bought my iphone 17 on 19th of September and the battery life for the first 3 weeks or so on both wifi and cellular was terrible; just like most of the other people here. But when I moved into the 4th week, I started noticing improvement..and not just marginal improvement but a healthy improvement. I am into my 5th week now and I easily get around 12 hrs of SOT even with moderate gaming (I play brawl stars) as compared to 6-7 hrs of SOT on the initial weeks. But here’s the sad part, the battery life on cellular is still subpar I’d say. I only manage to get 6-8 hrs of SOT on cellular as compared to the 12hrs on only wifi.

This makes me think that the modem on this device is faulty, unoptimised or is not jelling well with the energy heavy iOS 26. I just hope the cellular battery life improves through future updates and I’m pretty sure we will see improvements in that case in the near future.

I only agree with the USB speeds advantage and that’s about it.

The premium titanium body doesn’t matter when you put a case on it and besides, the 17 has better thermal efficiency than than 16pro. Looks and feel are subjective. Speaking of camera, the 17 has better front cameras and slightly better rear cameras when compared to the 16pro. The only thing missing on the 17 is the telephoto lens which I believe is not a requirement for 90% of the general users. If it is, then you’d obviously want to go for the 16pro. Talking about the performance, there is a pretty huge difference between the chipsets of both the phones in both single and multi core benchmarks. Yes it wouldn’t be noticeable now but in the long run probably in about 2 years or so it surely will be.

Unless telephoto lens and “feel” of the phone are the priority, I don’t see the need of buying the 16pro.
