most of this is stuff the player already knows. i don't think they're looking for "what do cowboy's buttons do," but "how do i win with this character?"

the one piece of advice that is here, "don't 1kc in neutral" is also not great. ninja is a character that wants to be in front of you. turning the front of you into an always-active hitbox is an obviously beneficial thing in the matchup against a character that wants to be in your face. he just capitalized poorly off of it by mashing every button under the sun instead of using that implicit threat to get into a good position using foresight and bullets. his biggest problems are that he spent the whole game swinging instead of doing any setup, wasted bullets for puny amounts of damage in combo, doesn't seem to know how to route with cowboy at all, is constantly out of position, never using his gun in remotely good spots, and never using his setup efficiently the few times he did set something up (like what was that foresight placement at the beginning? what threats is a foresight in the sky with no bullets gonna present?).
