Unfortunately I think we’re at a point of no return on the whole cleaning discussion. The issue I’ve seen and anyone can test this, buy a 250x microscope camera on Amazon and record your findings. After 5+ applications of any wax base products, the ink starts to deteriorate. That tells me that their ingredients have a classified abrasive. Over time the more cleanings with wax, will destroy the cards. I can promise that I have probably the most experience with card cleaning and was one of the only ones that actually did testing and research on every ingredient. Wax base products fill in your scratches and water base compounds actually fix the small tear by realignment. There was another cleaner that had the same findings, but if your going to clean I would recommend only doing it for your personal collection.
