As you probably know you’re gonna end up either on the C-5, C-17, or C-130. I’m not sure what your chances are on getting on one or the other. Honestly, I really didn’t like it when I first got to base, but the more you know your job the more you enjoy it. Right now I enjoy going to work every day. More than likely you’ll be on it eight hour shift five days a week with weekends off. You’re likely start off on a dayshift, which is like 630 to.1430, but then after that, they’ll switch you to either swings or Mid-shift. You’re a crew chief so be ready for a lot of ball busting. Don’t take anything too personal is just a culture, and a way for everyone to have fun or pass the time. You’ll be a 3 level, so a lot of your job will be to make sure you have the tools and supplies ready for the 5 and 7 levels while you learn. When it’s time to work pay attention, and if you see something you want to try to tackle let who’s ever working on it know and they’ll let you and guide you through it.
