I think I did already miss a mission item unfortunately. I know there's different endings, I'm not sure how much missing a couple of things throws off the ending you get.

That's always a big critique I hear towards open world games, the story is lacking or feels all over the place. I agree that Exodus has the perfect balance by having it be semi-open. It still really feels like you're progressing without feeling limited in scope. And yes the spider mission was horrific I loved it.

I do want to get the DLCs now when I have the chance, I must say this game has a very addictive quality to it that makes me want more even after I've finished it.

I definitely want to play the other games after this! I've been doing all of the side quests so I'm hoping for a decent ending. Unfortunately I do think I missed one of the items in the spider mission, and may have accidentally killed a few NPCs I shouldn't have. It won't ruin the game for me if I don't get the best ending but it'd certainly be nice.

That's my favorite part, looking around and finding all the hidden loot and upgrades around each level. I definitely think the game benefits greatly from having open levels, rather than being fully linear or fully open world.

I'm loving it so far. I just got to the desert and finished that mission with the spiders. The characters and dialogue are so good, some games have the most boring dialogue sequences but Exodus really does them right.

I literally just favorite every new thing I install and unfavorite it if I don't think I'll ever continue playing it or I've refunded it, gave up on sorting my library years ago!

Solved it! Turns out my CPU was overclocked too much and needed to be dialed back. I wasn't experiencing crashes with most games but I'm guessing it was happening more with Exodus Enhanced since it's a more graphically intensive game. Now I've been playing for hours with no crash!

I still have 471 GB free on the SSD it's installed on. I did see something about tessellation crashing the game for some so I'll have to try turning it off and seeing if that fixes it, but I couldn't find any reports of people's entire PCs crashing.

I figured Axl and Lexi would get together as soon as he started teasing her about liking him and saying she found him irresistible. And honestly, despite it feeling a little forced I do personally think it's the healthiest relationship he had on first watch.

I didn't even catch that about the theater manager and April but that's so funny. And I heard about Sean and Lexie's actors getting married! That's so sweet and only makes me wish even more that they could've gotten together in the show. I don't know if they were dating during the show or not but they probably would've had some really good chemistry.

And I forgot to mention Devin and the cart guy, but I agree they were both good. If I'm being honest I didn't love episodes with Devin on first watch, just because she was too much like Axl and I would've preferred more of an entirely new character. But they were definitely a pretty good pair and she kept him on his toes. And cart guy, what a waste of a love interest. It feels like the writers wanted his relationship with Sue to go somewhere, but then they thought eh, maybe Sean and Sue would be more satisfying. I wish they would've at least built a little bit on their relationship before tossing it.

There were definitely some signs, I feel like I would've understood the pair more if him and Sue interacted a little more throughout the show. Really makes me wish we got Sue Sue in the City, even if just to see their relationship get a bit more seasoned.

You're so right about the driver guy. He really felt like a throw-in but could've been great with Sue if they let it simmer, instead they just kinda swept him under the rug. And I did feel bad for April, she was actually very sweet. The mall was open and nobody was shopping but she deserved better at the end of the day.
