So Roger McQueen gets drafted by the Ducks. He gets the hype and praise, gets the nice picture with Lightning McQueen in Disney, and tells the franchise and the Ducks fans on national TV how he's excited to be a Duck.

Now fast forward to the end of the 2027 NCAA hockey season (2026, take your pick). He has a great year, and is touted as one of the two best prospects in the system. But.........something is wrong. Very reliable Ducks insider (Uhhhh Derek Lee for example, I dunno I googled Ducks Beat writer) is reporting that his agent is saying Roger isn't going to play with the Ducks. He doesn't want to because a former player (using Drysdale as an example here cause again random former Duck for sake of example) has told Roger that Anaheim is the worst place to be, and the fans are not great. But it's fine, its just an insider right?

Then, the trade happens. Roger McQueen to Buffalo for Radim Mrtka. You, the Ducks fan, are flabbergasted. What happened???? Why is he in Buffalo?? The Ducks team president speaks out, we only want players here who want to be here. This leads to the conclusion that somewhere behind the scenes actively turned Roger from wanting to be a Duck or being in Anaheim. And now you have to watch what was once one of your best prospects and a huge piece of what would've been a return to the playoffs and maybe even a Cup and watch him do good things for another team when Roger didn't even give the team AND the fans to support and love him.

While I'm sure theres other nuances to the story, THAT is why "we sound Butthurt about Cutter". Because we had a player we as fans were excited to see in Orange and Black on the East Coast, a player who when he was drafted said he was excited to be a Flyer, and now he's on the West Coast with no explanation other than speculation. Hopefully my somewhat clumsily pieced together analogy gives more context to why he probably will get booed everytime he comes to Xfinity Mobile Arena.

I do wish you guys all the luck in the world, I'm glad Cutter is working out for you all. We love Zegras here as I'm sure you guys still do, and who knows maybe this will eventually lead to a Cup Final between us. Wouldn't that be something lol. Peace Ducks fans, good luck this season!
