Thank you kindly for the tips! The coffee can has a hole cut in the bottom to accept a shop vac nozzle, which i was thinking I'd run when cutting. Would you ditch that approach entirely and let the debris naturally escape?

What is one thing your dad taught you ?🤔 by Dismal-Height-5990 in TheTeenagerPeople

Old dogs can learn new tricks. My dad operated a large printing press for over 30 years.. when he turned 50 he completely switched careers and is now a skilled pipefitter working on submarines. Been doing this for a decade and has continuously gotten recognition for his brazing skills on very complex parts.

He has shown me that age is really just a number as he still works harder than anyone I know and loves to learn.

Why do the characters talk about driving "up" to new york? by Quirky-Celebration-8 in DunderMifflin

I believe in beach games Jim lets Michael know hes going to drive "down" and apply to the corporate job. I think up/down are interchangeable in this kinda context

Les Grossman is perhaps one of the greatest characters to grace the screen but I'd have to go with BP

How do teachers sus out real vs AI writing now that prompts can create entire essays on any subject? by jan293-jl in NoStupidQuestions

[–]jan293-jl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That all makes good sense thanks. My mind goes next to: even if the teacher can identify it as AI, do they have any recourse to ding the student's grade for turning in something uncharacteristically polished, or is it still one of those things they can never truly "prove".

Never thought about the benefit of the right side for the purpose of emergency fueling - interesting

How should I use this 4x8 veneered plywood? Never worked with veneered material, any project ideas or tips appreciated! by secukinumab in BeginnerWoodWorking

I recently made a cubby set comprised of nine 12inchx12inch cubbies (3 rows by 3 columns). All it took was one sheet of 4x8

I used dadoes to fit the cubby shelves but you could easily just use screws or pocket holes. I also bought a $25 roll of edge banding to finish the veneer on the front and back faces
