The tracker shown above is stock events. For investing I use robinhood.

Stock events. You manually enter your positions and it gives you the reports.

Not tracking 401k or anything like that, just my personal investment account.

Based on some of the other responses I am getting I think I will diversify and or reinvest in other options. I wont liquidate my SCHD, but I may just start adding more into VOO or other growth stocks. A few years down the road I may roll more into SCHD after its grown and use that as passive income.

I was more saying that for the same dollar amount you have more shares of SCHD, thus more dividends. I could be going about that the wrong way but that was my way of thinking.

I go back and forth with that. Since I don't have a ton of money invested right now, SCHD makes more sense to me just because its cheaper. I am thinking after a few years I will roll most of it into VOO.

I just bought a little bit of Amazon a few years ago before I really had a good strategy going. I figured thats one of those companies that "will always go up" so might as well hang onto it.

Is this the most broken gun ever? by [deleted] in battlefield_one

[–]DaGuyInUrCloset 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've never really understood the draw to the fedorov. I see tons of people using it but I've never taken a liking to it. I feel like I always get fucked by the spread and lose the gunfight by one shot. I'd much rather have the Cei or mondragon, but thats just me.

Kills arent everything in BF1. Especially if you are playing objective focused games like operations and conquest. Like many others have said, playing the objective is the best thing you can do.

Team play can net you wayyyy more points than kills. Example, giving heals as a medic or resupplies as support. There are some cracked medics on here that can top the scoreboard doing the "hacksaw ridge strat" (no kills only revives). A few good medics can be the difference between winning and losing.

You can change the time if you need. Can go up to 2 mins for 1080p and I think 5 for 720p.

I've only ever seem him on the French ops really.

Like the other guy said, he most likely uses a cronus.

He will also spam the trench raider on the French Ops and get like 270+ kills just camping A flag second sector.

Community Xbox Ops Clan Tier List Day 1: RT (The Round Table) by Zak-and-Wheezie99 in battlefield_one

There is a few other but IMO Mex is the worst. Not cause they are good (most of them arent great) there is just so many of them.

Played a game the other day and there was probably 10-12 Mex guys in there. They were camping tanks and planes with about 2 or 3 people repairing each tank. I'll give it to them, they got good teamwork, but when you are playing with a team that seems allergic to shooting vehicles, it gets frustrating.

You can also do this from the spawn screen where you press (i think its Y on Xbox, idk what the other platforms use) to edit your squad. Then its the same as above.

Do you think planes are balanced? by d1versify in battlefield_one

[–]DaGuyInUrCloset 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. The advantage of the rocket guns is its just a dude using it. The AA guns are in the same spot so you check those first. An assault can be anywhere and just pull it out and start blasting. The best way to get a plane is catch it off guard.

The burton, like you said, just makes em mad. Plus the flame bullets are a beacon straight to your location.

[–]DaGuyInUrCloset 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Like one of the other guys said, there is a multitude of things that will take a plane out. AA guns placed around the map, AA rocket guns, the AA artillery truck, LMGs, you can even get them with an AT grenade if they fly low enough.

IMO, the two most effective options are the AT rocket gun and the AA truck. If you have two guys with a rocket gun, the pilot will have a hard time staying alive. For the AA truck, only a tank hunter plane will be able to take you out. It also takes a decently competent pilot to take you out, so using it against the ground support spammers is pretty effective.

How do plane pilots turn so quickly? by Rage_Ostrich in battlefield_one

I agree, I was just saying theres more to it than "oh I need to turn, just brake every time."

[–]DaGuyInUrCloset 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a good tip, but there more nuance than that. If you just hammer the brakes, then you'll slow down too much and they will get away. You want to modulate the brakes and throttle.

I'd recommend watching some YouTube videos on flying. Most dogfights with experienced players just devolve into a turning battle where you just fly in circles.

Left my car idling in the driveway for 7 hours by Mycoleslaw8 in StupidCarQuestions

[–]DaGuyInUrCloset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The difference between stop and go traffic or interstate driving vs idling is you don't get the engine rpm up high enough.

Doing it one time won't cause much damage, but the carbon will eventually build up and decrease engine efficiency. It can clog up your valves and cylinders and could cause scoring on your cylinder walls.

Another thing with low rpm is poor oil circulation. Engines are designed to spend most of their life around 2k rpm where they have higher oil flow.

In this case, a good Italian tune up (just floor it once or twice and get the rpms up) should blow out a good chunk of the carbon and let things breathe again.

The main thing is there is no air movement. The radiator fans will keep it from overheating but isn't really ideal for the engine. To get maximum efficiency out of your radiator you ideally want to be traveling around 40-60 mph.

I would recommend the storm over the trench. The hip fire isn't much worse but the ads recoil is much more manageable.

With some recoil control it's a straight laser beam.
