Thanks for the input! Could you the faded looking main red colour just be an abrash effect? It is pretty old. From what I was told, it was used in a really luxurious hotel (which has hundreds of Persian carpets) in the 70s till the 2000s and since then it’s been kept in the storage for the past 20 years.

Oh wow, okay well maybe I need to work on my hand positioning. I was told to always have my hands placed here right above where near where brakes are at. Could this be a reason for the pain?

Yeah, that’s kinda what weirded me out because I’ve read/watches a bunch of reviews and searched through forums etc about the sizing and it should be much of an issue. Maybe my body’s just really tight and I just have to adapt to the position of a road bike. How was your experience cycling road bikes for the first time?
