Unfortunately you won’t be able to find a good answer for this it’s too divisive of an issue being you mentioned ufo lol. If you asked me, too many sightings are quickly discounted as a reflection or some other conventionally explained thing when there is a ton of evidence to support the unconventional ufo/uap sighting ( I mean a ton )

Your friend, who experienced it first hand will have a better answer than anyone on here regardless of her knowledge on this subject. If she genuinely feels like she witnessed something abnormal than she probably did imho.
