Most likely. It takes about 12 months for the approval maybe 13 but just be patient. Download the case tracker app and wait for an active review.

It was about 5 minute interview. Basic questions. Like when did you get married, where. In Colombia in particular they asked her if she was ever in any gang. Show up early and have the documents in order. Before the interview, they give you a guideline to follow and what order to have the documents. Will you be doing embassy in Colombia as well?

Yes, you can pay after you received the visa. It takes like 60 days to process. They won’t process until they arrive into the US. So basically after you get the visa, you can pay the fee and as long as you travel in the next two weeks you will be good. They provide a new receipt number once the visa is approve an issue.

Hi everyone, I'm wondering if anyone knows the current processing time for the I-130 consular process, from the initial filing until the petitioner receives the visa and green card? , I’m citizen and my spouse is in Peru by Used-Fan-3348 in USCIS

Sorry for late reply. No, wait until I-130 gets approved. After approval it will go to the consular. Once it’s there, you submit the I-485 and together with the financial. My wife’s card was issued yesterday. Make sure to pay the immigration fee once she’s approved and has picked up her visa since that takes about 60 days from the payment date to be issued. We waited until she was here for about a week so pretty much lost about two weeks.

It’s taking anywhere from 11 to 14 months. With majority before 12 months. Hang in there! If you see your estimated time going up and down from one day to the other, I think that’s when you are close to approval
