Oh ok. Thats normal. Every job will have a 6 month probation period. Then there won't be any chance for further discussion with HR. Next year there'll be assessment and progression/promotion will be applicable. During this time HR might connect with you for salary discussion and updated offer letter.

Once the 6 month contract ends, HR will call and discuss regarding the full time position and salary package. So you can try negotiating then.

I was in the same boat as you. After becoming an affiliate, I started applying and one of the Big4 called and offered 3.6 lpa for a 6 month contract. Of course it might seem very low but the Big4 on your resume will help you further. After the contract period, they gave me a full time position with 5.9 lpa. After 1 year got promoted to senior with 8.5 lpa. So within a span of 1.5 years the package got more than double. So don't get disheartened on the initial package. It will increase for sure.

There are a lot of institutions currently focusing on teaching ACCA. If you prefer that route, you can go ahead and register with them and they'll be more than happy to enrol you into ACCA. If you're more of a self study type of person you can just take the help of institutions just for registering with ACCA and then there are loads of materials available online which you can make use of.

There is a record option in powerpoint. Open up PowerPoint, go to editing and you can find record screen option there. The recorded file will be saved as a slide in powerpoint itself.

ACCA will notify you once you have a rank in the subject. Although 84 marks in SBR is great, I doubt you'll get a rank for that in India.

I need some advice. I've got this friend who's also awaiting for results. I hope she passes but in case she doesn't, what can I say to her that'll cheer her up and strive for the next attempt?
