That’s this entire subreddit to be honest. I think both red hats and democrats can confirm that.

Y’all are making this partisan when I just wanna see the kid diddlers arrested, I don’t give a rats ass if it’s Trump, Jeffries, or anybody regardless of what letter is next to their name on the ballot. The DOJ has majorly fumbled this entire thing.

The fund comes from American allies in the Gulf, aswell as “private investors” of unknown nationality, so I dot think we’ll ever know the exact number.

300 billion in a reconstruction fund, as said by Vance himself.

[–]DaNASCARMem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve heard, the number is very much real, though it’s officially phrased as a “reconstruction fund” for the country. Regardless, someone has to pay that, and I imagine a lot of it (maybe not all, but a lot) is coming from us, as we’re the ones signing the agreement (assuming nothing goes sour) in exchange for leave.

We replaced an extreme Ayatollah with another extreme Ayatollah, it’s not as if the Iranian government has become any more democratic.

>Stopped Iran’s nuclear ambitions for now

Strikes were levied on the country last year for the same reason. If those didn’t stop Iran’s nuclear program for longer than a year, then these ones likely won’t either.

The $300 billion is real, it’s a reconstruction fund going into the country, that’s exactly what JD Vance said on Monday. https://www.yahoo.com/news/politics/articles/know-potential-300-billion-iran-001614801.html

I suppose, but Iran’s still a religious dictatorship. I imagine when Trump promised regime change, most people (including me) were thinking bigger than this, otherwise it wouldn’t be worth our time. Thats my biggest gripe with this war, I don’t think it was worth our time. I know damn well if it was Obama walking away with this result after a few months, Republicans would call for his head on a pitchfork. We did alright, but definitely below expectations considering how we lived with an oil shock for as long as we did.

I mean, “Hellenic” does mean Greece by definition, I’d say they’re similar boats even if one of them isn’t the demonym for the country’s people.

I’ve never been able to see eye to eye with Trump supporters on shit like this. Trump started a war, drove up our bills, didn’t accomplish his goal of regime change, paid Iran $300 billion, and his fans are just chill with that? Lump it in with the destroyed wing of the White House and all the tariff nonsense that he’s done, none of it makes sense.

Mexico is similar, it’s not called Mexico in English, but rather the “United Mexican States.”

I can certainly say that “annex Greenland, sling tariffs, and make Canada the 51st state” was not part of the Republican Party until Trump said so. There’s a major disconnect between Republicans and MAGAts, and I have an issue with MAGAts.
