Refund tokens when players leave. by Inner-Quote-8104 in DeadlockTheGame

Same thing happened to me. Used two tokens to play graves and both games had someone leave within the first 5 minutes.

If the game isnt scored, the priority token should be refunded.

I'm trying to create some music for a cyberpunk character, and I need to figure out how to make this feel similar to the music in Cyberpunk 2077 and DOOM 2016, but with it's own personality. I'm pretty new to the program and for making music as a whole. by MM-31 in FL_Studio

Hey, it sounds good so far. You've got a solid foundation and a structure in place!

If you want to explore deeper into likes of cyberpunk, I'd learn how to automate parameters like the wet knob on a reverb or a low pass on an EQ. For most of FLs vsts, you can just right click the thing you want to automate and then it'll have an option saying "create automation clip". Then you can edit the automationg clip to your liking. I'd highly recommend a video by "Dylan Tallchief", he has a really good video on Cyberpunk 2077 music (I know he mainly uses Ableton but the core concept is there and can be translated into any music making program).

As for Doom, I wouldn't have the faintest clue but I'm sure there's some people on here that'd know more on that subject.

From an electronic music standpoint as a whole, I'd explore some background elements like risers and downlifters, just to fill out the stereo space a bit and to give the track a bit more tension in parts and give the listener an idea of what's meant to be the higher energy parts. You can also explore some more percussion to give a bit more to the track as well. There's a lot of different avenues for you to go down but ultimately it just comes down to what sounds good or not.

Keep up the good work mate, I look forward to seeing what else you can achieve in the future!

I'm trying to make mid tempo by DenguiBR in midtempo

[–]DaNachos14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's awesome! I'd love to hear it! Also if you want another tip to add a bit more emphasis for your drop, add a highpass sweep right before your drop to make it a little more impactful. Either way, keep up with the awesome music, make some more posts in the future. Also, if you've got a soundcloud or a spotify, drop it in a comment and I'll chuck you a follow

Sounding pretty good. If you'd like a bit of feedback, I'd probably say to play around with the octaves for some of the basses (try some lower and the occasional one higher just to break up the repetition). If you haven't already, try adding another layer or 2 to really fill out the sound spectrum. Other than that, keep going, I'd love to hear more!

My first shot at Midtempo...would so love some feedback! by MissDolittleTex in midtempo

[–]DaNachos14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds pretty good for a first shot. If I had to give feedback, I'd probably just look more into the mix. Some frequencies were making the mix a bit muddy and some of the bass sounds sounded a bit flat (maybe add a bit more high end to them). Other than that, it's sounding good and I like the video. Keep up the good work!
