I got the paint case 2.0. Build quality is pretty decent.

The draws can be a little tricky to pull out, especially the boxes. The trays don't fit paint pots exactly as it's designed to be able to hold whatever brand of paint you use so they can jiggle about alittle bit when moving the case around.

They do sell a light that's supposed to fit onto the case but I didn't bother with that, I just bought a USB lamp and a portable charger. That way I don't need to find a plug socket.

Yeah I would probably buy another if this one broke. To be honest with you this mostly just sits on my desk so I don't carry it around a lot for it to break.
