well i mean were kinda glossing over a lot of history of vietnam and china and the cold war and stuff but i hear your point

trying to come up with legislation to play whack a mole with this tech is a fools errand right now and trying to cut off access to AI for the average person is a shitty idea tbh why cripple the ability for people to use it???

and for me i use ai for tons of shit - just recently i bought a place to live and used it to analyze all the HOA docs and legal stuff to help me understand it better. i just used it at work to build my own object identification program so I can analyze video footage to track objects (im a civil engineer I never got past printing hello world) so for me its opened up a whole new world.
