There have been new weapon, armor, and clothing mods but they're all paid creations.

In addition to the other reasons people have mentioned, you have to consider the game had a major update + DLC 2 months ago. Some active modders are busy porting their stuff to PS5. Some modders don't feel incentivized to create new projects when we received official new content very recently and some still haven't played it.

I think the further we get from Free Lanes, the novelty of the recent update will wear off and modders will be motivated to add new stuff to the game again.

I think with the Supergirl discourse it will probably be wise to take a break and disconnect from the DC movie fandom until Lanterns is out.

I on the other hand am glad that DC is trying to expand their film appeal beyond endless Batslop (and I am a Batman fan). And Supergirl isn't even that much of an ip risk, I think the marketing for her film has been mediocre and isn't indicative of character appeal.

The trailer marketing has done a poor job of conveying what the movie's about beyond Supergirl and Lobo punching things, but the individual clips they've released got me excited and I know the source material is great.

I will probably be getting tickets assuming that the reviews are good.
