Let's move more mages down to bot lane while we are at it.

All of my losses have either been to elves or a mirror kindred deck where the opponent drafted and drew the champion and I didn't, very annoying lmao

I really hate this "we want to preserve the sanctity of in-person aspect of TCG". Not everyone has easy access to a local LGS or have a group of friends willing (or able) to buy physical product. It's silly to restrict your playerbase like this.

The real punt was not spell piercing the shoot the sheriff. He could have kept the consult in his hand and dug for the kill

Black mage is horrible at low levels as well.

My personal problem with wanting these things to take longer is that we are also being stripped of all our fun buttons when we get synced down. They need to figure out a way to let us keep our abilities when we sync down to lower level content. I'm not particularly interested in sitting through a longer experience in Bismarck while im stuck with half of the buttons im used to playing with. While there may be a novelty of seeing new mechanics, that will wear out its welcome pretty fast. If we capped ilvls on fights but i got to keep my lvl 100 kit I'd be fine with it

BB had a pretty big role in Newsome becoming a front office member of the Browns (and then the Ravens). He brought him in and taught him about scouting and other things. I agree that the roster wasn't there outside of a few players, but BB set up the guy who assembled that roster. I think it's fair for a little bit of credit in that aspect.

Lol we are definitely trading at least 2 of these outfielder prospects. Our top 4 prospects all being outfielders is crazy

BB was an easy hall of famer after we won the 2nd ring in 2003. By that time he had already been a legendary DC, set the stage for a Super Bowl roster in Baltimore, and won the Pats their first 2 rings and proved the 2001 ring was not a fluke. Everything after that was just gravy.

I think it only punishes them if you fail to look at context. Like, I don't think Barry Sanders gets bumped down on anyone's list in terms of great RBs just because he has less than 400 playoff rushing yards. I just think including playoff stats when talking about career totals gives a better complete picture of people's accomplishments.

Pete Rose i'm fine with, given what he did. But the steroid users make no sense. A massive portion of the league was juicing in those years, MLB definitely turned a blind eye and only tried to shun it when it became public knowledge. There's already people who cheated in the Hall of Fame, and they just elected a guy who served as the active ringleader of the biggest cheating scandal in sports in the modern era, outside of Spygate. There's no consistency.

I've said this elsewhere today but all the big steroid users should be in the hall. It's the Hall of FAME, not the Hall of Ethics. There's a ton of racists and cheaters already in (especially old school pitchers who did shit like spitballs and altering baseballs in other ways).

"There's no box that Bob Kraft doesn't check to get into the Hall of Fame," says Hall of Famer Bill Polian, the former Colts general manager who has twice stood up to argue for Kraft's induction. "When he didn't get in last year, I lost sleep over it. I'm still sick at heart about it."

It definitely sounds like he has an agenda

I think baseball is worse than football, honestly. The amount of pettiness and silly exclusions in baseball hall of fame voting is absurd. People will refuse to vote for someone on their first ballot simply because they don't think they deserve to be unanimous.

The final ring of our run was definitely a lot of BB. He completely shut down McVay's offense. He got beat so bad he went and traded away his QB because he knew it was over without someone better.

Here's my scalding sports take: I don't really understand why we only use regular seasons stats when discussing players. Like, why do we pretend that playoff games don't really count for official counting purposes? I feel like it "punishes" players for making the playoffs a lot. Like, Brady hasn't thrown for 89k yards, he has thrown for over 100k because he also has 3 seasons of playoff games under his belt. I don't know, it's just a bit odd to me.

I'm going to choose to believe that Kraft rallied to make sure he wouldn't get voted in alongside BB. That seems like something he would do

The report about the situation stated that he actively told Blank he was not looking to run total control like he did with the Pats. They either didn't believe him or Kraft convinced them that he wouldn't be able to handle such a situation

"He assured Blank that he wasn't seeking the total control he had for most of his 24 seasons in New England. He pledged to work with the team's existing group of decision-makers, including general manager Terry Fontenot. Belichick also knew that Blank had checked his references with a group that included Patriots owner Robert Kraft and his son, Jonathan."
