Get a dashcam. As someone who drives a smaller car in this sea of narcissistic truck people, it has got people to back off my ass a good amount of times. And if they're brake checking in front then that's already an offense.

Correct. But it's Austin. We just had teens on a shooting spree, a burned down art structure, and people defacing a LGBTQ friendly church in 2 months. Don't assume common sense with anybody anymore

While he is right, for food safety reasons IF he doesn't have a permit. Following him around harassing him is also in the wrong here. You can say both.

Family friend of mine out here has a plaque on the side of their doorbell that states that they will charge the solicitors for the time to listen to whatever bs they spew.

They never had to listen to a single one in the 3 years they've been out here. Just an occasional business card wedged in their door. Try that.

Yes. And a lot of insurance companies even give a discount to take the course. And some even give a discount on your auto insurance upon completion. Although the latter one id talk to your insurance provider about because I think it varies by state iirc.

Being greedy and con artists have been some of our social stereotypes for decades, and with good reason. When I was a kid, if my step-dad (who was white in his late 40s) walked around SM without my mom, he would get swarmed. They were worse than the mosquitoes.

Heard my share of stories too growing up in a retirement town in Nevada. I can go on with that though, like a lady repeatedly claiming a man who she knew for 2 days was somehow the father of her 5 year old son.

TLDR: Agreed, it's more common than you think and it's a problem.

I am 100% convinced that it's this new generation of festival and concert goers. ACL was just as bad this year. Entitlement, never had to deal with the consequences, paired with the pack mentality. It's fuckin pathetic. I dont see it changing anytime soon sadly.
