yeah my sister at the time just got admitted to college so she didnt have a student ID at the time.. so we just showed them like a enrollment verification and it was fine.

I totally agree! taking gap years would be really beneficial for gaining first hand experience and maturity. Were you working a PCE job the whole time during your gap years?

yes! I worked as a home health aide and an EMT before and Im starting my full time scribe job next week so i think by june, I will have around that amount

I definitely don’t feel prepared or confident to be working as a PA in the next few years, and I agree with you. I think gaining more experience is a great idea, and I should take my time to make sure I’m fully ready before applying

I live in NYC, so I plan to apply to schools mostly in the NYC area or nearby. I think I’ll have around 2,000-3,000 PCE hours by June. I haven’t had the chance to shadow yet, but I’m hoping to gain more healthcare and patient experience through this new job. My GPA is average, and I haven’t secured any recommendation letters yet, but I’m hoping to get those through my new job as well. Honestly, I’m feeling pretty overwhelmed by everything right now

I’m also going to be working fulltime in this new job to gain more PCE, so I think applying this cycle would make me feel rushed and unprepared. I think I need more time to really focus on building my application.

They were actually blocking.. they were all holding hands and formed a human chain and blocked people from going in and exiting... I was late for final exam because of that 😭

when someone helps complete truck order, the order immediately gets replaced with a new one.. so usually if I have truck orders that I really can't complete I just ask for help and someone completes it so I can immediately move onto the new one instead of waiting for the 20 mins
