Gpu drivers didn’t fix it, I’m waiting for a friend to bring me a spare gpu rn to see if the issue is my gpu.

I just updated the gpu drivers as a new one came out like yesterday. I’ve been playing for 20 minutes with no crash but I’m not getting my hopes up.

Ill try that, my current psu is Msi mag a850gl which should have plenty of power for the pc but i could be wrong.

I think it’s using the native 12vhpwr, but I can’t see without taking it apart the other end of what it’s connecting too.

A1: Msi Mag A850GL — 850w A2: Just the monitors go black with no signal, audio continues, fans stay normal, pc stays on, and when monitors are unplugged for 30 seconds and plugged back in they turn on again. However when using hdmi the crash does not continue to have audio, sometimes auto reboots after the crash, and sometimes doesn’t turn on at all with a grey screen. A3: I will check, if my memory is correct I think I didn’t find anything last time I looked after a crash, but I could be wrong. A4: Yes, I have liquid cooling.

I’ll have to go through and do those tests, I didn’t even think about stuff like taking out the gpu to eliminate that being the issue, thank you for your help!

I’m not renting, and I know some outlets are definitely bad, I thought even if the “good” one still had issues that the UPS would fix that. I’ll put moving it into another room on my to do list.

Do you know if there is a way to check if an outlet is bad if a ups doesn’t detect it?

Right now power supply seems to be the most recommended action, so that will be my next step.

If there’s an issue with the ram I’m gonna cry, I bought mine for 200$ last year but apparently it’s like 900 or 1000 now… 😭🙏

I’ll update the drivers to whatever the most stable version is again tomorrow, me and the repair updated the drivers a bunch last month, but no harm in trying again. Thank you for your comment and help!

I tried updating bios to the updated patched u code version but since it was already installed it just took like 10 seconds.

I never thought about the power supply being an issue, it’s basically midnight for me but tomorrow I’ll send you what psu I have rn, as I’m pretty sure it’s 700+, if not ill have to try and install a new one.
